We called in on a spur of the moment whim after a day at the races. What a great friendly pub. Large selection of ales. If I lived in the area, this would be my local. Happy times!!!
Fab bar, good atmos, great staff and ideal for watching the match or a game of pool 😁
Outside areas, sky sports, pool table, jukebox, value for money and friendly staff. What's not to like? Would highly recommend a visit. They have entertainment most weekends with live bands and karaoke!!!
The Ale House is a great place, a proper pub, Darts, pool, juke box and live music and sport. Frequent visits from street food vendors.Friendly staff
Great local bar, friendly staff, good selection of beer on tap. Plenty of TV's for the footy and a great atmosphere on match day.
Hi. we were in the alehouse yesterday. I booked the room for my retirement drinks. there was a very friendly welcome provided with good food and where nothing was too much trouble. the team even put up the banners and balloons on our behalf to decorate the room before we arrived.the music was good
Called in today for pre Xmas drinks with hubby and our dog not been in for few years. Really good atmosphere and lovely cozy festive feel...bonus that its dog friendly too we will definitely be going back soon. Have lovely Christmas Kevin and all the family 🎄🎅
We took our nephews to the pub's children's Christmas party yesterday. Can't recommend enough. Great value for money and lovely atmosphere. The woman who ran the activities was brilliant with the kids. We will be back for the Easter party. Thank you!

New management in recent months and a nice quiet refuge for an early evening refresher after work. Excellent beers choice and friendly warm welcome, great to be back as not been in for some time due to excessive noise on previous visit under previous management.

Great pub, we only called in for a quick pint but were very impressed. It's good to see a pub being a 'pub' rather than a restaurant or an annoying cocktail bar. We'll get the metro next time so we can stay for more than one.
A very good pub. Although all the rooms have been made into one it still has the feeling of the old bars, the bar area, the undecided snug area then the lounge area.
