The Palette Newcastle - Newcastle upon Tyne - Photo album

Really such understated compared to the quaysides definitely hidden gem of Newcastle that doesn't get as much attention but such a lovely marina with a quayside walk would recommend if you want to flee from the crowds of quayside that's the place to be :)
If you’re ever visiting Newcastle get down here, it’s a hidden gem that only the locals know about and honestly, it’s such a contrast to the rest of newcastle you could even imagine you’ve gone rural. Great coffee at the little hut, there’s even a vintage clothes shop!
Had a walk along tyne ended up at Marina, surprising how many different types of boats in marina had walk around then ended up at Cafe brilliant view of Tyne while you relax and enjoy a drink and something nice to eat, lovely day out
Such a lovely spot for food and coffee, great views and a hidden gem, very nice!
It's not Monaco, but it's still a lovely setting. Quiet and scenic with all the various boats moored up. It would be great if most of the boats could be cleaned up - many of them are so dirty they make the place look grubby...
Lovely place to go for a wander and a coffee by the marina.
Nice marina on the River Tyne. 30 minute walk to quayside.
Went for coffee & lunch @ Le Verne which was very enjoyable. Very busy at lunchtime so big wait so go earlier or later. Pleasant sitting on gge banks of ghd Tyne.
A very peaceful place with a café, ideal for a bite to eat and a cup of tea /coffee and watch a boat or two go by.
A lovely place to go for a walk and there is a bar where you can grab a drink and something to eat.
