The Hooch - Newcastle upon Tyne - Photo album

Interesting looking bar, they do a tapas type menu and cater for non alcoholic and alcoholic customers. Barman that served me was very friendly and welcoming. Expresso martini was nice and creamy. It's overlooking the river as well, so the views are nice. Prices are reasonably priced for a cocktail.
Lovely venue with friendly and attentive staff. Draught beer, cocktails and gin with a beautiful view out to the Tyne Don’t let the name mislead you it’s a sophisticated and comfortable venue
Beautiful little bar by the quayside with superb ambiance and vibe❤️
Delicious cappuccino The service is friendly& kind and professional The cafe is located in a beautiful area near the river I did not like the very modern decor
Nice vibe with a good interior design and offering views over the Tyne
Love it here!! Really good quality, nice environment and lovely staff. Will definitely be back to see the sunset. Also, amazing coffee and milk alternatives available. The artisan bread suits more special then it is…couple slices of dry toasted bread. The olives are great though!
Cocktails here are absolutely exceptional, we celebrated a birthday and the staff were so kind and attentive. Great drinks and vibes all around!
Staff absolutely lovely made us feel so welcome recommending drinks on asking advice. Toliets immaculate . Lovely atmosphere We did have window table best seat in the house
Fancied something light for a brunch so came upon The Hooch. These were the mini sausage rolls which were very nice washed down with a cappuccino. The staff were very attentive and every surface was sparkling. Nice views of the Sage and millennium bridge to
Great little café/bar. Perfect Espresso Martini and delicious mocktails all soundtracked to a fabulous choice of tunes
The food is exceptional amazing ! Extremely delicious! The best in New castle upon Tyne ! Highly recommend for anyone! The best of the best !
Nice place to sit with a cocktail and people watch, waitress also had amazing nails!
This is such a friendly place, food is great though we didn't eat this time, other than a a divine chocolate brownie (gluten free). Coffee is good, not bland multinational stuff. It's right on the quayside with lovely view of the millennium bridge, the sage and the Baltic. Definitely worth a visit.
Beautiful place, lovely staff, great view! New favourite coffee spot on the Quayside. Definitely will be back for some late drinks too!
Great little set up akin to something in Spain. Table service a nice touch and the place itself is very nice and cozy along with a great view. The staff are all a credit, are genuinely friendly and sincere. The Soultrain cocktail made with Bulleit bourbon is an absolute taste sensation! Myself and m
Amazing view, service and drinks, will definitely go again.
Newly opened, everything was sparkling bright. Staff friendly. Menu a bit sparse for my lunchtime needs, though the herb scone was very tasty. As the name suggests, this bar seems to focus more on a drinks menu. Worth a visit if you are so inclined. Stellar view over the Tyne
