"Wow, just had the most amazing meal at Khai Khai! The food was an absolute taste explosion. I tried the chicken curry, and it was so flavorful and perfectly spiced. The naan bread was warm and fluffy – just how I like it. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. The hospitali
We had curry at three different Indian restaurants last week and Khai Khai was by far the best. Very rich and flavorful. Especially the buckwheat curry we had was spectacular. Not too salty or bland, it was creamy and bringing out the natural flavor out of buckwheat to the fullest. I was surprised
Was so impressed with the food . Service . Atmosphere. I would definitely go back . I had the classic vindaloo. Omg was fantastic. Hot but not silly. Full of flavour Onion Baji again fantastic as where the prawns to start and chicken starter. Well worth a visit.
Visited for restaurant week, busy place but the table service was spot on, food was tasty and presented well. We didn't leave feeling hungry, or feel rushed. A bit hot seated downstairs, but there were lots of people, so a little stroll along the quayside to let dinner settle, and get some fresh ai
So this place is fantastic..BUT if booking a reservation online be careful because we booked for 2pm (first time visit) & upon arrival we were advised to quickly place our order because the kitchen was closing at 14:15 ... Which isn't really desirable - in hindsight I wish the booking system hadn't
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Khai Khai Newcastle, an Indian restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. We opted for the smoke plates, and the flavors we encountered were simply phenomenal. Starting with the chicken kebab, it was perfectly cooked and packed with spices that created
Had an excellent meal of the superb tandoori broccoli starter (try it) and lamb roganjosh, then rice pudding with lovely cardamom flavour. Perfect textures and deep spice.
Went there for my son’s birthday and been back many times. Some of the best Indian food I have ever tasted. I suggest the chefs 9 sample course to check everything out. You won’t be disappointed
Delicious! Great varied menu, lots of veggie options. We loved the sound of all the small plates so had lots of these rather than a start / main style meal. Fabulous paneer, naans, daal, bhajis, cocktails. So tasty. Good service, attentive but not too much.
Easily one of the best meals I have had. Service was prompt, polite and invariably with a smile. Outstanding food. Will be back.
Food was good as the name suggests it’s not specifically Bangali food but Indian restaurant. Keema naan, lamb curry and biriyani was good. Coffee smell was awesome couldn’t not have as I was full will try next time.
Had the chefs feast at £39 per person. Pre starter, starter, main, and dessert. Absolutely fantastic, every dish was spiced fantastic, some having a different twist to what I have had before, but in such a lovely way. The butter chicken for instance had a far more cardamom flavour than I am used to
From the amazing selection of popadoms and bhaji’s to the black lentil dhal and mains this place created authentic indian food. The service and staff are fantastic. We will return
Probably one of the UK nevermind Newcastles best curry houses. Delicious and very good use of spice.
One of the best Indian eateries in the Newcastle-upon-Tyne city close to the quey side. Decent elegant and affordable places to enjoy lunch with your family and bunch of friends.
We've been here multiple times and it's always amazing! Excellent quality food, good portion size and absolutely delicious! It's extremely good value to visit for their lunch time deal. Will come back anyday!
Visited here on resteraunt week. We were seated downstairs and it was a bit warm to say the least. Could have done with some air con. Food and service were spot on. Not sure if we'll be back though.
