Excellent staff, very knowledgeable and patient. I waited almost over 2 years for the Shanghai Chai to come back. This green tea is one of my most favourite, it has a light spice flavour and is very mellow.
Recently went into the store and was greeted by a fantastic assistant who advised me on several purchases, including some amazing Turkish apple tea. I rarely post reviews but I think Abigail is doing phenomenal job and should be commended for it.
Amazing customer service . I was advised the best hot chocolate to suit my tastes . Even told I could return it if I didn’t like it !
Lovely staff and great shopping experience. Went in, I was asked if I wanted any help, I asked them if they sold a certain product (which they did) and was served instantly. They were so friendly behind the till we had a lovely chat while they were serving me.
Helpful staff, wide range of loose tea and coffee as well as hot chocolate. Can be a bit expensive but some of them are indeed very luxurious. Good for getting gifts for family or friends at Christmas.
Great place to get your fix of Coffee, Tea or Hot Chocolate, essentially a haven for hot drinks.
Staff and friendly so if you don't know exactly what you want just ask and they'll help you find something.
Usually have samples in store and if you don't enjoy some tea you've bought you can always bring it back in and exchange it for another type.

I used to regularly buy their Lemon Tea every month and get the offer of buying three tins for s tenner. But l stopped getting it when it became expensive and the taste was different. I do like Whittards.....been around in Leeds a long time..and visited the one in Newcastle when up there for my Birthday recently.
Love this small shop in Durham, only place to get the tea set of Alice in Wonderland, which I got my daughter for xmas, sells tea, coffee beans and fantastic various sorts of hot chocolate, I got sticky toffee hot chocolate which is to die for.
Brilliant place to visit it may be a small store but if you want something a bit different then you can visit them from an exceptional coffee to a superb and unique tea my wife and i are never disappointed, the staff are there and guide you through the best of the products and you can also get a little taste as they will always have something brewing
I use loose tea leaves and they have a wide range of good tasting teas. The staff are very helpful as I am disabled they will get what I want so I don't have to stand and search.
