First time to try eating here and was well impressed by the food! It was served hot, fresh, and in generous portions. We were able to do a walk in visit without much fuss. The staff welcomed us kindly and seated us right away. Every now and then they would check with us to see if the food was to our liking. The place, although not quite huge, was clean and the ambiance was inviting. Furnishings and decorations were aptly thought out, and they even played songs you would normally here back home! - such a great feeling of comfort and nostalgia! At the minute the payments are only on cash basis, but I'm thinking that when this little gem picks up, they might accept card payments soon. (hoping) The food was really great - I especially loved the sisig! We were so full that we even forgot to order the Halo-Halo! But then, that gives us reason to go for another meal there soon. Pinas feels in Newcastle - absolutely lovely experience!

I have been to this restaurant few times and was never disappointed. Food is very tasty and full of flavours. Atmosphere and service are super friendly. I wasn't sure what to order as I haven't tried Filipino food before but waiter know all about dishes and helped me choose. Lovely place, I would recommend it to try!

Manila is a cozy place to eat where they play Filipino song as you eat authentic Filipino food. Bicol express, turon and leche flan were delicious. They also serve halo-halo, a Filipino dessert which is perfect during summer. The staff were approachable and accomodating. The price of the dishes were reasonable, food serving was good. Make sure you bring cash because they don't accept card at the moment.

Simply no place like Manila! 🤩🥰 As the single Filipino restaurant in the North East, this cozy restaurant always leaves the best impressions! Atmosphere is relaxed, with authentic OPM playing in the background. Hospitable hosts (the head waitress is so maganda), delicious dishes and beautiful presentation. At its core, Filipino food is big on three flavors: salty, sweet, and sour. A balance of all three is found in their dishes, from savoury entrees to desserts - don’t miss out on the halo halo! The food servings are generous and great value for the price ranging from around £7-12. (perfect for sharing too). 😋They are open for dine in and takeout collections, currently operating on CASH ONLY. Highly recommend to everyone, to both filipinos & non-filipinos. Make yourself feel at home again and visit this hidden gem in the heart of Newcastle!! 🇵🇭❤️

Finally a place to bring friends whenever they ask me for a Filipino restaurant at Newcastle.🇵🇭 Tried sisig (4/5) and kare-kare tonight (3/5). That's mainly because I cook and I love checking out restos back home so I have a different standard for food. But this is UK so it's actually good that they managed to get the authentic taste. The service was quick and the place is clean. Bonus point that the waitress is really kind, friendly, and cute. Interesting music choice too, but maybe add the newer ones after Roselle Nava's time.☺️ P.S. I suggest to decorate the place to look more Filipino and also add some Filipino drinks too (buko juice, calamansi and sago-gulaman). If you can get San Miguel or Red Horse, that will be cool. All the best and congrats to the owners!🥰

Bicol express and the pork springs rolls were so good… would definitely come back for this Sinigang na Baboy was good, but a bit too salty for me to finish the whole dish

If you want to try Filipino dishes with a touch of Filipino hospitality, Manila is the place to be. Have a taste of authentic Filipino cuisine and fall in love with it. P.S. They only accept cash payment at the moment.
