Zees is by far the best coffee in the whole of Newcastle. I’ve tried a lot of coffee places and they don’t come close to zees! Support small businesses. They have lovely lovely staff and fantastic cakes and sandwiches too.
Service is always so friendly and the coffee is incredible. I’ve tried the cinnamon swirl and the brown sugar cookie and both have been amazing and so well priced :)
Food was really good, so was the coffee. Every time I enter the building it feels like I’ve offended the staff by ordering a latte. It is a shame because it is a nice place but I’ve never felt welcome.
Unfortunately no real space to sit inside, and never really feel welcomed to do so. £3.90 for a flat white with a milk alternative that’s only served in a take out cup is quite expensive and puts me off going back more regularly. Cookies are tasty.
