Great and fresh Mexican! Exceeded our expectations when we came here. Most of the menu is gluten free and they also have vegetation options.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and colorful. The food is also really great, but the prtions are on the small side so keep that in mind while ordering. The churros are great.

Great, fresh tasting tacos and burritos. The tortilla chips were definitely made in house, I could eat them all day. The entrance is in the alley way you have to walk down a little bit to see the stairs down into the restaurant.

Listen, I’m not an expert on tacos. I couldn’t tell the difference between a ‘legit’ taco and a tex-mex one, or California style or whatever. But I am an expert on deliciousness, and this place has legit delicious tacos. I got a fish and a pork one. They were both amazing, but the pork one was incredible. I had to go back and order an extra one to eat in the car. The thought that I may never be back to Damariscotta for another one of these makes me very sad. Nine hours would be a long way to go for a taco, but one day I just might do it.

Absolutely splendid hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant. The employees were very accommodating and friendly. The food was outstanding. We had the burritos and quesadillas and they were great. They also had a large selection of Jarritos Mexican soda which I loved. Great food great restaurant.

Always so delicious and well balanced. So happy to have this in our town. One overlooked item is definitely the black beans-we always get a side of these and are always so happy to have them with the meal. Try it out you won’t be disappointed!!

What a hidden treasure! My husband and I were going to Damariscotta to another restaurant and it was closed. My husband is from California and knows great Mexican Food...this was GREAT Mexican food! Gluten-free Steak Burrito gets a 10 stars! Reasonably priced with a very good portion. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Stopped in on a whim today. It was quick to order, and the food came out pretty quickly too. Amazing food! We ordered some nachos, I got a quesadilla and my husband ordered a burrito and it was more than enough for us.

Cute little basement restaurant in downtown Damariscotta. The food was amazing--we had molé, carnitas, and a fresh fish taco--all were fantastic! Order at the counter for takeout or eat in. We had sangria with our food and it was perfect on a hot August evening. The food was ready in the blink of an eye, too. Would go here again any day and highly recommend.

I noticed this place tucked into the scenery on my way out of town one morning and though they were closed, I promised myself I'd stop in the next week. Boy was I glad that I did - the variety of options was truly impressive. The chef and young woman working were very helpful with my questions and even made a reccomendation my first visit that was outstanding (fish tacos --try them!). My second visit I discovered the nachos and it beats any serving of nachos you would get anywhere in my opinion. By the way, they have a wonderful article in the 'ZEST Maine : Summer/Fall 2017' magazine that hits the nail on the head. In short - try this place, I'll be making the drive out there just for them next round!!
