Cafe Mauds Newcastle - Newcastle - Photo album

Hard to beat this place if you are looking for a freshly cooked breakfast. The sourdough bap is awesome. The kids loved the pancakes.
Great place, great town, great views. Love it. The wife & kids decided to go for something to eat, & then sent me photos of their lunch. Heart attack on a plate. 🤣
Great lunch at Mauds Cafe Newcastle. Had always assumed the menu would have been limited to ice cream dishes and coffee/tea but pleasantly surprised at the variety and range of food. Extra bonus was sitting out on the balcony in the sun looking up at the Mournes. Highly recommend.
We visited Maud's this afternoon, when it was very busy. We had to queue to get in but the queue moved quite quickly. My daughter and I shared a minty mallow mix-in, which was delicious, as always. The staff were friendly and helpful. Just one negative point - there was a queue for the toilet, and t
The service here was amazing. I have a severe nut allergy and after being refused service form a place down the road we when in and then the person that served me went above and beyond and opened and fresh spoon and a fresh tub of ice cream. This is the best service I have had before
Fantastic in dealing with my girl nut allergy . Explained all steps they take to ensure the milkshakes where nut free despite a massive queue of customers. Seating outside overlooking the mourns and sea which was ideal having had our wee dog with us.
I haven't had a Maud's ice-cream for almost 10 years As I don't live in Ireland , It was just as delicious as I remembered! First time in the Newcastle shop, lovely atmosphere
Great ice cream, service was quick and very friendly and the location is great. Also the ice cream scoops were massive so big plus points for that.
From the moment we entered we knew had made the right choice. Our group had soup, fish cakes, spice box and pancakes what wonderful tastes. All was presented beautifully. The service was very friendly and first class. Sadly we were so full we were unable to have some of the wonderful cakes. This is
Enjoyed the food and the view here.
Very busy spot and a bit of a wait for a table but worth it for the tasty food. Good portions and good gluten free options. Reasonable prices and lovely ice cream.
We had a lovely ice cream milk shake and the woman was very nice that served us
Lovely location. Lots of customers enjoying delicious food. Only one bathroom which is inadequate for the large numbers of customers using it.
