Newlyn Filmhouse - Newlyn - Photo album

The restaurant is worth a visit in its own right. (The cinema is also great). Good food freshly cooked, good menu, lovely staff, very pleasant atmosphere and surroundings. Interesting building. No rustling or scrunching policy in the cinema. Such a great venue for Newlyn
I can’t believe there is a cinema like this one. Loved the experience from start to finish. The friendly staff, the intimate and independent feel, the small viewing room, the option to sit in a couch, with your drink from the bar…so grateful someone decided to offer this. A gem if you are in Newlyn
My dream filmhouse. Fabulous choice of films - always - in comfortable and inspiring environment. Staff well-informed and super-friendly. Atmospheric bar and restaurant with mesmerising views of the Coombe River. Can't get enough of it. Thank heavens I live near-by.
Great little cinema with a nice bar/restaurant and comfortable seats showing lots of independent filmmakers work.
What a great venue. Dropped by for coffee and cake and loved it so much came back the next evening for dinner and cocktails. Lovely food, beautifully presented served by friendly and efficient staff. Haven't seen a film here but would be a regular hangout for me if I was local.
Fantastic programming. Wonderful food. Love the no crinkle snack policy. Great bar. So wish I lived closer.
Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the lack of popcorn. I get you don't want noise but honestly what's a cinema experience without devouring a box of the good stuff.
Lovely local cinema rivalling the Everyman’s of London in looks only as the price for a ticket here is much more reasonable. There is a decent sized restaurant on site as well with a fair menu for food and drink. Definitely recommend
Great cinema, with friendly staff. A good place to go with family and friends or on your own. The restaurant is also worth going to if you have time before or after the film.
Comfortable seats with steep tiers so everyone can see the whole screen (screen 1 at least). Good sound. Reasonably priced drinks, which can be taken into the theatre. We appreciated the no rustling policy. £9.50 per adult, with discounts for members. We will go here again.
I've dined here and the burgers were amazing! But I've also watched a movie here and the cinema was amazing it was so beautiful. My only complaint was no popcorn or 'rustling and crunching' in the cinema but the ice cream was good! Would definitely recommend the restaurant and would love to go there
Lovely environment, comfortable seats, and warm room, but the waiting area is a bit too small.
Great cinema! Fantastic quality, great seats and a well behaved audience.
Great cinema experience, lovely café and food. Had a wonderful afternoon out with the family
Love it here! Get to see films not on else where as well as all the most popular. No rustling policy is great . All facilities excellent and friendly staff. Always walk or get the bus as parking can be difficult at busy times
Lovely little cinema. Friendly staff and, from what I could tell, just two screens. They're is a no rustle and no crunch policy, in order to preserve the enjoyment of this more intimate movie theatre. This means they prefer you to only consume drinks and ice-cream served on premises (£3 a tub and
My first visit whilst on holiday, what a lovely quirky place, an intimate cinema experience, helpful and friendly staff, I would return without hesitation...
