Nice space, good decor and selection of drinks. Food was excellent value for money, really nice burger and fries. I'll be back!
Travelled to Kentford to meet some old friends halfway and was not disappointed. The landlord and landlady of The Kentford could not have been more accommodating given our last minute booking for a table of 11. The atmosphere, service and food were all impeccable. Nothing was a problem for them. We will absolutely be visiting again!
Love this place! Love the atmosphere! The dining side has miss matched furniture but it all goes together. Definitely call ahead for reservations. On the other side of the house is like cute library pub. You can order food on that side but tables are smaller and more for drinking. They also have a nice outdoor space perfect during the summer! Their burgers are delicious and on Friday they have an awesome 2 for 1 Fish n Chips deal!
Went for a Thursday night meal here and it was a great friendly local pub.
Food was very reasonably priced and good quality. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
The outside has a large garden with even some goats out the back.
We’ll certainly be back - but you might struggle with younger children due to a lack of play area.
But overall this is a great place.
We want to say a big thank you to all the staff who made my Mother in laws 90th birthday celebration a special afternoon. A thank you to the Chef who had to cater for us a party of 28 and also had to cater for another party of 30.Everyone enjoyed their meal. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking to book for a celebration event. Thank you again.

Went for dinner after having driven past the place a few times and thought it looked nice from outside.
I was not disappointed from the first phone call to book a table through to the end of the night.
It's a bit quirky decoration, which has been done just right and not over the top. So it is interesting and relaxing.
Will certainly be going back.
A phenomenal restaurant for the little town of Kentford. Great deals on food, which is quite good as well. On Fridays and Saturdays this place gets quite busy which is a great sign for a small town. They also have a unique bar area where you can lounge and read and play chess.
Myself and my daughter went to the Kentford last night for the £10 steak/ burger .
We are both fussy , staff were so accommodating. Food was delicious. The gentleman that took our order (possibly the manager ) explained what some ingredients were etc.
food was , fresh , tasty and served within a good time. Menu overall had some good variety. Reasonably priced. We had 2 x steak , onion rings , 2 drinks and 2 sauces and was less than £35(the steak was on offer ) Triple cooked chips were immense.

I had pre-booked an early Christmas meal, and they had done a fantastic job. The communication was great. We had some last-minute changes, and they changed it without issues.
After speaking with the front off house staff who also did an amazing job, it turned out there was only one chef in the kitchen (our table was 23 people)

Absolutely amazing Sunday roast for my mum’s 90th Birthday meal. Staff brilliant! Made a special vegan gluten free birthday cake for her as dietary requirements in our family which was delicious! Second visit now and will definitely be returning! Thank you for making her birthday special!
