Affleck Arms - Newmarket - Photo album

Happy establishment- fish and chips on Thursday are much relished by all and sundry for miles around! John, the boss, is such a great guy- so kind in allowing my friend and I to use the facilities (very clean) when we called on a Wednesday when the pub is usually closed.
Finally got round to visiting, highly recommended, very friendly, great selection of beers on offer, guys behind the bar make you feel so welcome, all in all, definitely a great place to visit šŸ‘
What a gem. Being placed conveniently on a popular walking route this pub could charge what they want, but the beer price is very reasonable (any pint Ā£3.50) with lots of choice on tap. The homemade scotch egg was delicious too, and landlady very friendly.
Had a really good burger, hot dog, and cider! The flavor was amazing! And a cool walking path right near it!
A nice beer at a very reasonable price and a lovely setting. Not been for a long time and will be happy to go again soon :-)
Lovely friendly pub with good beer. Situated in a very convenient spot on the three churches walk. (Sometimes known as the three pubs walk.
Before we even crossed the threshold of the pub we got sweared at multiple times as a warning for our muddy boots. However, we preserved and ended up having some nice banter with the characterful landlady. Unbelievably, the pints were Ā£1 each for a reason we couldnā€™t quite understand. Be warned that
Lovely place and friendly staffs work there and lovely people just right in the lovely weather outside near the tiny river
SUPERB beer led thatched country inn, lovely friendly customers and the Licensee John keeps a cracking pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord! I'll be back!
Not eaten at this pub....only popped in for cool drink
After going on a nice country walk this pub was great to sit out at and enjoy the sun. Everyone was friendly, food looked amazing and the drink was well priced. Def recommend.
Quick pit stop while out on the bike. Very welcoming lady behind the bar and friendly regulars too.
Hobbit-town like village with genuine village pub. Very friendly.
Visited this pub by chance .Quaint old viiage pub in a picturesque quiet village. Well worth a visit . Friendly with reasonable priced drinks. Great beers.
