Lamlash House

We were privileged to celebrate my sister 40th birthday here. From start to finish it was the most perfect evening. Jonathan and Gordon we exceptional hosts, ensuring the evening ran seamlessly. The venue...omg what to say, I am in love with this place. Everything about it is breathtaking. Finished to the highest standard. The stair case and stain glass windows, the bar in the old bank volt, and my favourite, the parlour room which I would love to see decorated for Christmas its just beautiful. The food was delicious, some of the best food I have ever eaten. Honestly we had the most amazing time and cannot wait to get back for more event. If I could give this place more then 5 stars I would. Everyone needs to experience this amazing place.

We had a wonderful time here as part of the Millers and Merchants Tour. We had a lovely lunch and were given a tour of the house by the owners, Gordon and Johnathan. They have painstakingly restored the house to its former glory. It is incredible. They were ably assisted by Janet in serving lunch. She played a great part ( I don't want to give too much away, in case anyone does this tour). The first part of the tour was to MYB lace factory just down the road. This was amazing also. Janet greeted us there, and we were taken on the tour by Margo and Sherry, All in all, we had a fantastic day and can definitely recommend the Miller's and Merchants Tour or any other opportunity to visit Lamlash House. Well done to All.

Booked the afternoon tea for my mums 75th Birthday and what a delight it was. The house is stunning, staff are truly amazing, food was out of this world, decor is stunning if I could give 10 stars I would. Will definitely be back as such a personal touch with them bringing out a cupcake with a candle and everyone sang happy birthday to my mum ❤️ thank you once again

We visited for the Halloween themed Spirits & Seance evening. As we approached the building in the dark, the atmosphere for a spooky evening was set. Green and red lights from the historic windows set an intriguing scene. As we entered, the staff were in Victorian costume and in character. The decorations were terrific and continued the Halloween theme with cobwebs, pumpkins and little touches at every turn. Food was outstanding as usual with attentive service. The (comedic) seance was so well performed, very clever and very funny. An absolutely unique experience which I’m sure we will talk about for a long time. The hosts, Gordon & Johnathan, take so much care with every aspect of the service, it makes you feel so well looked after. Lamlash House is like nowhere else I know. We always have the most enjoyable experience when we visit. I would highly recommend a visit.

Absolutely beautiful building. Owners have done an amazing job on the renovation.The stained glass windows leading upstairs are stunning. Lovely afternoon tea there last week. Well worth a visit ,will def be back again. The interior is absolutely stunning. Our tea was served in the McIntosh room. Beautiful ambience. The staff couldn't have been any nicer and nothing was too much trouble. Here's hoping lunches will be being served once again in the not too distant future.
