Always THE BEST Chinese! You have to order the crispy chilli beef, and the special fried rice! So delicious.
Food is always amazing, staff are very friendly. Can have a beer whilst waiting. Could definitely do with decorating though it's starting to look a bit grubby.

The building is an old pub, nothing special but the food and service are superb.
I took away the meal, but I can see it is a good place to come and dine as well with a broad selection of drinks.
A broad selection of food and they never intended this due to the space, but you can see right into the kitchen and hear and smell the cooking. A very modern approach!
Chief Waiter is the owner. It's not that far from Milton Keyes and an easy journey and just off the M1. Travelling up North? Well, a good place as an alternative to the awful Motorway Service Areas. Takes 5 mins from the Motorway junction.

I have been here many times and have to say, Tim, the owner and Elvin, his trusty waiter have been nothing but super efficient, polite, friendly and totally professional. I cannot recall ever having a bad dish and if you go for the group specials you get excellent value for money. So pleased lock down is over.. Martyn x
Visited for the first time not long ago. Food was very nice, menu was flexible for my vegan partner. Portions are good size. Does look like someone's front room though and not a restaurant. Will return.

Been going to the Magic Wok all my life (22 years) and they are always amazing - The owners and their family are so kind and always make you feel welcome. The food is amazing and at a reasonable price and the drinks are a good price too! Will always recommend!

Wonderful people and service. .can't fault the food it is the best quality tasty food iv had in a while..we travel a distance to go there because it is so worth it..old fashion pub converted to half restaurant so bizaar deco but see beyond that and it's the finest food for miles..we are regulars and wouldn't stop going...lovely place and can't do enough for u..
Best Chinese in Newport Pagnell by a mile, possibly best in MK. Hot fresh food, friendly service, well priced and some cracking traditional and Cantonese dishes. Don't be put off by the 80's decor, the food is excellent. Also a great place to watch football and have a cold beer!!
I’ve never been a huge fan of Chinese food (especially takeaway) because I’ve never found a place where the food was worth it.
The customer service here is incredible, from the minute they pick up the phone to take your order to arriving to pick up your food. Everybody (especially the owner) is extremely friendly and the food did not disappoint at all!
Tim & Alvin are so welcoming. Food is absolutely lovely, but we enjoy going there moreso for the friendly banter watching a game of footy & having a beer while waiting for our takeaway. Really missed this in lockdown, but just had our 1st Magic Wok Chinese in 16 weeks & loved it 🍷😁
We have had a takeaway every Saturday for ten years - it's far and away the best in the MK area. When they closed for a short time to refurbish I went to the restaurant in Newport pagnell high st and it was nothing like the quality you get at the Wok.
The taste is fantastic, the portion size very generous and they have several ingredients in most of their dishes, unlike other Chinese restaurants which use only a couple in addition to the chosen meat. They will also tweak the meal to your taste.
Tim and Alvin are always so friendly- there really is no reason to go anywhere else.
