This place is amazing! Always have a lovely time visiting. They went out of their way to create a private lunch for our family the day after our wedding. The food was delicious and the service wonderful! The garden out the back is such a sun trap.
Delicious lunch and cakes. Had beef cawl, quiche of the day and fisherman’s board. All nicely presented and very tasty. Bakewell tart with creme was flasus! Friendly staff and good service, managed to for us in even at peak time when we hadn’t booked. Happy days! Recommended 👌🏼
Really enjoyed our light lunch here on arrival for a holiday in the area. Friendly helpful staff. Enjoyed a relaxing lunch sitting outside
Popped in here for lunch as I was on business nearby. Very warm reception, lovely surroundings and great food. Best flat white I've ever had too! I strongly recommend and will be back next time I'm in the area. Staff here exceptional!
I'm really happy I had lunch here last week. Incredible cawl. Can't get over how good the bread is, even now a week after eating there I'm still remembering the top quality food. Really lovely seating, I love the decor inside. Really highly recommended.
Thoroughly enjoyed this cafe!! The owner was incredibly kind and a delight to chat with. All the Food was delicious, homemade treats, and friendly staff. Simple, affordable kids meals. Glad to find this local cafe, as on a Monday, everything else was closed. We even bought an entire homemade, deli
A quick lunch, outside in the sunshine. The food was perfect, fresh and tasty (baguettes with salad). Service was prompt and very friendly. I have been here several times previously and have always been pleased.
Had a lunch here, and it was exquisite. Ploughman's, beef cawl, and vegan humus baguette. Really friendly staff. They let us buy some ham for the dog too. Nice outside garden. Sell some local produce too.
A very busy café. They do a great breakfast and good coffee.
We followed Martina here having known her from her years at the Golden Lion. What she, Jason and team have created at Blas is outstanding - excellent, tasty food and good wine in a setting that has a lively buzz of people of all ages. Very highly recommended.
We had lunch outside by the street. Very continental, other than the fierce wind! The menu is good, my wife enjoyed her mixed salad with feta, however my Quiche of the day (with mixed, Mediterranean (?) vegetables) wasn't up to the usual standard. Rather like scrambled egg on damp crust, with brown
Absolutely top notch lunch, cold drink in the heat (lots of nice in a small glass - I have been dreaming of this ever since!), coffee, cake, table, environment, service (on the hottest day of the year and busy too!) and ambience. Well done!
Such a great cozy place to grab a bite to eat whatever the weather outside. Super friendly staff as always. Top tip: Parking is pretty hard given that the high street is so quaint. Instead, use a nearby car park and it's just a short 2 or 3 min walk back up to the high street. Looking forward to o
Excellent food, the outdoor seating area is peaceful and sunny, and the staff is lovely! Kitchen is open until later which is super convenient if you're stoping by after a long hike!
Fantastic staff who are very friendly. Food was brilliant, especially the garlic potatoes. Sharing board to start a great idea. However, I was disappointed that they've stopped doing a barbecue evening meal and only do tapas and tunes. The breakfast I've had there has been very good though. The blas
Excellent light lunch here 3 weeks ago. Staff were brilliant with one of our party's allergy to sunflower oil (not on the official allergens list) which causes grief and disappointment at most eateries. It was great to be served a proper flat white too which is something of a rarity. Blas is highl
