Just stayed for a night at the Coldra Premier Inn at Newport for one night with the option of breakfast at the Coldra Beefeater. For £9.99 you can have continental breakfast and traditional english breakfast. Unlimited on the continental breakfast which you help yourself to and order as much as you want on the English breakfast which they bring to you Staff offer a fantastic service and are quick and efficient. The food was to a very good standard and I would recommend a visit if you are in the area.h
The food was delicious but a small portion for the price, and the service was slow. However, very friendly staff.

Went here for our anniversary. Had some lovely gifts. Stunning food & great service maraya was such a lovely server thanks for looking after us. Will deffo be returning
Today was our Golden Wedding Anniversary we booked our meal on-line a couple of days ago. In the notes section I told them it was our special day. We were very happily surprised to see our table decorated, a lovely card, box of chocolates a small bottle of champagne and a photo frame. I would just like to say a huge thank you to Zoe and the rest of the team for making it a lovely day! The food was lovely too! Thank you again! X
The staff that served us was fantastic polite etc ease feeling. Compliments to the chefs food was perfect. Seating was spot on. We had the rack of ribs done to perfection. Thanks to everyone there.
Stayed at the Premier Inn for a graduation ceremony at ICC. Booking for meal had been botched. Staff at Beefeater were superb and found a table. They were run off their feet but incredibly welcoming, and friendly. Nothing too much. Very appreciated after a long journey. Even smiling again for the am breakfast shift. Food fabulous for evening meal and breakfast. Just the job. Very much appreciated . Will definitely book again. Diolch yn fawr

Stayed at Premier Inn Newport...booked evening meal and breakfast! Both were cooked and presented well. Great service polite and attentive staff...highly recommended!😁
Stopped by for early(ish) lunch. Really good. Our server Rachael was lovely and very helpful. Apparently our food was cooked by Tom and Ed and it was perfectly done.
Had to wait almost an hour for our food however there was 24 of us and the food came out together there was a nice tr6 in carpark 🤭 oh yes mine lol
The lovely two people working tonight are absolutely amazing! Couldn’t wish for nicer people. We have broken down 300 miles from home back in Norfolk England, phone wouldn’t charge on a wire so we couldn’t book a hotel as it needed Barclays app to be authenticated to use the card, they kept checking on us and offering to help. Amazing people, they even gave us the answer (the MC d wireless chargers!) if you two get to see this thank you soo much. You made our day. I’m sorry I didn’t catch your names!

I don't really ever write reviews, but I feel compelled to after a visit to the Coldra Beefeater in Wales. While the kids macaroni was "too watery", as declared by my 8 year old and the corn on the cob somewhat dried out, the service and attention we received from Jamie was outstanding and certainly deserves to be written down for posterity!
Although he was running around sorting tables, food, drinks, staff...he still noticed us sitting there looking rather forlorn (our designated waitress seemed to have vanished) and feeling quite hungry by that time of the night. Jamie came straight over, a big smile on his face, asked if we'd had our drink order taken. I asked him if we could just order everything at once and with us not being at all familiar with the kids menu, he guided us through it and within minutes our food and drinks were on the table. He was just great! Attentive, helpful, on the ball, friendly, not in your face, but not absent either.
I have never had a waitron that impressed me as much as he did. Even my daughters commented on how efficient, friendly and nice he was!

The staff were polite and professional. We were shown to our table and ordered drinks. We had time to look at the menu before ordering our meals. I had the Gammon Egg Pineapple and Chips with garden peas. It came on a hot plate and was very tasty.
Came for early evening dinner , I was greeted by a lovely lady called Jamie (Im sure she was the manager) so helpful especially with my allergies, Rachel served us and she was wonderful ,the food was outstanding !! Absolutely wonderful , especially my ribs , wonderful visit ,will be back
