A fairly large M&S store offering men's, women's and children's clothing, a home department, café and foodhall.
We mostly use the café and foodhall but on the odd occasion when we have bought items from other departments we have always be happy with the quality.
The café here can get very busy and is very popular, particularly with the older generation and young families. Prices have gone up in recent times but are mostly comparable to other cafes in the area.
The foodhall offers a wide variety of typical supermarket items and you could probably by everything in your typical weekly shop. The fresh fruit section also offers a small selection of seasonal fruits you would not usually be able to buy in a supermarket. The foodhall can get very busy at times, particularly with the older generation.
Most members of staff are very pleasant and helpful. There are, however, the odd few who seem to hate dealing with customers.
The shop shares a large car park with the rest of the retail park. This can get very busy at times (particularly on the weekend) and it can be difficult to find a parking space near the shop. There are a some disabled and 'parent and child' parking spaces near the shop entrance.
Extremely welcoming friendly staff. Happy atmosphere. New menus. Had a regular Americano very nice don't bother having large as the size is not much bigger and you do not get extra coffee they just put extra milk in making it weaker.
Seating well laid out with a view to the outside.
Staff here as in other M&S cafes work hard constantly cleaning and so on.
I love my local M&S, parking is there as it is located in a retail park. The same store is small but has a great selection.
This has a good ladies selection of clothes down on ground floor. Mens and first floor linked by lift or escalator. There is a Cafe on the first floor. On the ground floor a small or medium sized food hall.
went for a bra fitting. Julie was lovely and helped my find my right size in no time :)
Great store, well laid out with friendly staff. Ftor everything I was looking for. Recommended.
Fantastic service from Paula in the lingerie section who was very patient with my sister and eventually found exactly the right products for her. She was delighted !! Many thanks.
Popped in to get a slim fit shirt for my son going back to sixth form. Very helpful staff and lots of choice. Previously picked up formal wear with no hassle and the food although not cheap is very tasty and fairly priced. Add to this easy parking and you have my 5 star review based on last 3 visits.
Bit disappointed that the food hall didn't have everything I needed. What I did get was good quality fresh produce, tho' a bit more expensive than other major supermarkets.
Needed to return a few items of clothing for refund, transaction was handled efficiently, but the assistant was very po faced & unsociable. VERY unusual, M&S assistants are usually so friendly & helpful it's a pleasure to be served by them. Won't put me off though, 1 unsociable assistant in my years of M& S shopping I can ignore!!
We shop at this store every weekend. Various staff always say hello and maybe chat for a few minutes. The shelves in the food hall are always well stocked, as are all other departments. A lovely cafe upstairs caters for a range of food and drink, (reasonably priced) and, also on the 1st floor are toilet facilities for everyone from babies to disabled! Parking is directly outside the main doors and caters for all needs.
