Love their food always tastes amazing although there delivery has been a bit slow lately so hopefully they get back to how they used to be and deliver quicker again

My partner and I ordered from Mirchi for the first time tonight and we think we've found our new favourite Indian food place.

Quality: 5/5 subtle, delicious, flavours and spicy means a good level of spice.
Service: 5/5 ordered online but it arrived quickly and it was still very hot.

Food is always on point and staff are friendly and helpful I have been here a few times. Great delivery service I highly recommend besides one more Indian takeaway I know, this one is also one of the best in Newport as they are clean, and food is good quality.

Ordered the Shobji Chilli Masala (Vegetable) yesterday evening with chips, vegetable rice and garlic & cheese naan. Came to £16 with my £2 student discount, the kind of price expected for a one person meal however I shared with my partner. Took about an hour to deliver on a Monday night, delivered by a very happy and friendly guy worthy of a tip. I have to say I didn’t have the highest expectations because of the low price and the fact I had never ordered a curry in Newport before. What I then went on to experience on my kitchen countertop can only be described as the best Indian I have ever had in my 21 years of life. I have never shed a tear over curry before but last night I came very close. The curry was rich & creamy with just the right amount of spice for me (medium), packed with beautiful flavours and very high quality, I could tell this curry was made with love and experience. The rice was vibrant and fresh with a good vegetable balance, contributing to a heavenly combination with the curry. Chips were standard chips, lovely curry dipping material - same goes for the naan. My order was packaged very well, keeping the food nice and hot from restaurant to my mouth.
First time eating from here but can’t recommend enough. I will definitely be ordering again!!

Wow just wow had around 5 take aways from here in past few weeks.every dish we have tried has been unique the flavor and quality and portions are just right. Can't fault one thing.this is now my new go to for tasty curry.keep up the good work mirchi amazing food.
Great food with a wide selection. The lady is very helpful to nutritional needs and a pleasure to deal with. Our food arrived early and was hot!! Can't wait to try the lime chilli curry.
