I'm a regular here, always had greatcservice Leanne and Trina are a credit to John and Kate. Always had lovely fresh food and cater for a dietary need. Highly recommend this chip shop xx

As usual. The food is great. Hot. And always a friendly and polite manner when I go there. Would I go anywhere else? No. Alonzi is one of the best Fish & Chip shop's in the area. And I have been a customer for well over 30 years.

My Favoutite Fish and Chip shop since John's closed on Maindee High Street. Always polite service and they are very efficient so there's never a long wait. The main reason for visiting Alonzi is the outstanding quality of their fish and chips, but you can also sit in and eat properly! However, fish and chips is what they do best and Alonzi is hard to beat throughout Newport IMHO. Try the Irish Gravy.
