The Eight Bells - Newport - Photo album

A nice lunchtime at the Eight Bells with my partner and her little one. Reserved a table (which is required) and bought drinks, then used the soft play area, which the little one thoroughly enjoyed. Then went through and ordered food using the handy app, staff were friendly and welcoming and the foo
Our food was great value for money and we all enjoyed it. We wanted somewhere child friendly and this fitted the bill perfectly. Huge play area to keep them entertained. Staff all super friendly.
Great pub with a brilliant soft play area for kids. We stopped in on a raining day and found the place a lifesaver for a nice meal and entertainment for the kids-the outside seating area and kids play equipment looked lovely too-will be back on a sunnier day to try them out!
Lovely place, ran by a great team, always nice and responsive. Good local food, variety beers on tap. Pleasant homelike atmosphere
Had a lovely family meal here at the eight bells yesterday. The food was amazing and excellent service. We love the fact that we can take our son along and he can play in either the indoor play area or on the park in the garden too. We enjoyed our evening as always.
A little gem pub, we had a lovely lunch there, service was fantastic and staff were really nice. Food was gorgeous so we are going back today before our holiday ends.
Nice family place to visit, I visited here on a Friday it was quite quiet at mid day. There is plenty of things for the kids to do outside from swings, play equipment, bounced castle and more, a few it's of play equipment has seen better days now but it is all looked after and clean, the outside a
Updated review as I don't think I gave this place enough credit. Many of times we have dined now and it never dissapoints, great food (especially the different specials), great service, inside soft play area, outside play park with views of the river and wildlife, plenty of parking. The cost is more
This is a good restaurant/put a warm welcome and very family friendly. The only criticism is the lasagne was a little dry but all the other mains and deserts were great. A large garden with park and lake at the rear and soft play area inside with parents responsibility to their own children.
Great pub, like a tardis, looks tiny from the road but stretches back to a beer garden and play area. Dog friendly, food was good value and staff friendly.
Food was amazing and kids enjoyed the outdoor playground and soft play
Please buy a mop for your employees who had to skate on dishcloths on the tiled floor to dry the surface after wetted travellers dripped rainwater on the counterpane.
All-day Big Breakfast and a cheeky kids menu build your own Sunday... Smashing honest grub.. lots of parking and a kids soft play area.
