The Bridge Inn - Newport - Photo album

Lovely food, good choice of wines and although staff were young, they were pleasant and accommodating. Dogs were made very welcome too. What a shame that due to energy price increases it is forcing the owner to sell up.
What a delightful and welcoming place this is. A little out of the centre of town, but absolutely worth the few minutes walk. It's also very near the canal, so stop in if you're having a stroll. The food we had was exceptional and very good value. The bar area is also very accommodating for dogs and
Very friendly place. Excellent food and not expensive. Lovely outdoor eating area too. Definitely go there again.
Only went for a drink (no food) with a few friends. Haven't been for a good while and hadn't realised what was the car park has now been turned into additional seating areas to maximise social distancing. Has a one way system, front to back (though later in the evening this gets informally relaxed i
Food, drink and atmosphere is fantastic, would recommend to anyone after a high quality meal in a relaxing atmosphere. Will be seeing you again thank you.
Good warm ambience and delicious food. Excellent menu with interesting range of choices. I had hake in the most delicious leek, bacon and pea sauce, our companion had lamb shank perfectly cooked. Delightful and helpful waitresses. Thoroughly recommended
Wonderful food with generous portions. Lovely atmosphere and great service. Will definitely be back
Very nice Sunday lunch. Waitresses were lovely, although the bar man was a bit sullen looking and not very welcoming. Food was delicious.
Lovely meal, beef cooked to my liking (pink) proper roast pots, good veg, excellent gravy. Try the Shropshire Lad, grear beer, kept well good flavour.
We been going to the Bridge for a couple of years now & love it here. Always a friendly welcome & the food is amazing. Since re-opening after the 2nd lock-down - still excellent & they also have the addition of smaller/bar meals if you are only wanting to call in for a drink or two. Hope you continu
I visited this establishment at lunchtime on a week day. It offered a menu board together with a light bite paper menu. As it was lunchtime, my friend and I opted for the light bite. I have to say the meal was excellent. It arrived piping hot and clearly freshly cooked to order. The staff were polit
Great food and attentive table staff, fully warranted a decent tip.
Had our local pubs Christmas party last night. Food drinks and service was excellent, very reasonably priced.
I called in at 'The Bridge Inn' on the off chance as it looked nice from outside when I was looking for some where different to dine. To get into the car park though it is a very tight squeeze down the drive entrance. We grabbed ourselves a drink and asked to have a look at a menu but, we was told t
Brilliant place, first visit this weekend 29.08.21.. Staff were excellent, plenty of outdoor seating that still catches the end of summer, afternoon rays.. So overall very relaxing and nice atmosphere, great service when we ordered and lovely citra ipa on tap.. Will be coming back soon 😎👌👍 thanks gu
Eaten here four times over the past few months and never had any complaints. Excellent food and service. Very reasonable price for the quality of the cooking. Look forward to visiting again next time I'm in Newport.
A return to the town I grew up in and realised despite visiting most of Newport's hostelries at one time or another, The Bridge Inn wasn't one of them. Parking available at the back though a tight squeeze to get there! A warm welcome awaited along with a pleasant aroma of something fishy cooking. Li
Very good food dog friendly would most definitely go again
