Newclose Pavilion Bar & Restaurant - Newport - Photo album

Would have given it 5 stars, but issues with the ground, cannot be overlooked. Hampshire's main ground is the Ageos Bowl situated in West End , near Southampton The ground is easily accessible from Newport via Vectis Buses (2 & 3) or about a half hour walk via Newport to Sandown trail
Fantastic cricket ground. Went to watch Hampshire. Organised brilliantly so access in and out was easy. Enough seats for everyone, and plenty of food and drink stands.
Absolutely superb. My little brothers wedding reception was here and the venue, service and friendliness of the staff were excellent. Very highly recommended.
A great place to watch cricket, with a friendly bar, comfortable seating and a nice food menu. The venue also offers weddings, events and music. There is seating outside and you can walk the perimeter of the ground and see the local Lama's and Alpacas. There is good free car parking, and the ground
Great cricket ground and wonderful to see Hampshire v Kent play in the one day Cup.
I went to the cricket ground. I've not eaten there except for a cricket tea or two. A nice place to watch cricket.
Lovely afternoon watching cricket. Lovely set up. And a beer festival this weekend.
Love this little place and so pleased they have opened another entrance from the cycle path as saves walking on that main road. Have popped in a couple of times for a drink and had visited their craft fair recently. I hope people take notice of this venue and use it more, it's a lovely place with fr
Fantastic place for cricket
Had my baby shower here and was amazing. Huge space and in beautiful grounds. Liked it so much I booked to have my little ones christening here too. We also regularly go for breakfast and lunch. Great service and friendly staff. Highly recommend
It was such a good day ! The staff were excellent and so was the cricket ! The food available looked good and not dear ! And the Sharps Pilsner a real treat ! Ok we thought Northants were going to win the day but oh no Hampshire were throwing out the best of vibes and the rest is you know ! Wonderfu
Great little Town cricket ground and easily accessible from Hants for Hampshire matches. However the security person walking the grounds trying to find any "glass bottles and glasses" was rude, aggressive, impersonal and shouldn't be in this job until he receives suitable inter-personal training inc
Nice big restaurant with outdoor seating, dog friendly too. Massive car park and open 7 days a week, not too keen on the chips there
I had a fab breakfast here last month and last week I attended the ghost walk evening with Marc Tuckey. It was a great night , the Halloween declarations were amazing and I had a lovely curry. Will definitely be back xx
Scenic, good amenities, most enjoyable
