Overall a great lunch out. Ordered the larger of the sharing platters with a couple of sides between 5 adult and three young children; all left feeling well fed. Lovely flavours, nice to have something different 😀

Best sushi restaurant in Wales by far! ✨. We went to visit this evening for the first time, and it certainly will not be our last! We ordered the Salmon Teriyaki bento, crab futomaki and Mixed Poke bowl. These were so fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff are so friendly and attentive too! Very much recommend an-nam sushi to everyone! Thank you ☺️🤍

Food was phenomenal worth a detour located at a humble street in Newport city center. Fresh ingredients and the sashimi just melts in my mouth! MUST TRY! 😊

A completely unexpected gem in Newport. The sushi is simply superb, the staff friendly and welcoming and the bill surprisingly affordable. If you’re in the area get in there. Not to be missed!
Absolute gem of a place - caters well to vegans and vegetarians as well as committed carnivores like myself. Lovely atmosphere for a girl's meet up - the staff are friendly without being obtrusive, and some thought and effort has gone into the decor and the food presentation. We will definitely be back.

The best Sushi spot in Newport, very authentic.Not a lot of sitting room, but cozy on a rainy day. They have a 10% NHS discount but don't do deliveries unfortunately.

Some of the nicest sushi I've ever had. The staff are wonderful and will do anything to help you, if there's an issue (which doesn't happen very often) they sort it straight away. I haven't eaten inside yet but I popped in and it's so clean and modern. A little escapism from the normal scenes of Newport.
Was really excited to see a sushi restaurant open up in town so went there for dinner to check it out. It's clear the chefs are brilliant! Food was prepared super quickly, fish (and all veggies) tasted really fresh, presented beautifully. Quality is up there with great sushi places in major cities. Best food I've eaten in Newport. A true gem in this city. Highly recommended!
We visited as a couple on a Friday night. There was a large selection of sushi on the menu. When it was brought over we were happy with the presentation and the taste. The only downsides I would say is the quality of the soy sauce brought down the meal. I would bring my own in future as it was so thin and tastless. We had the platter which was plenty of sushi we even took the leftovers home. Also while we sat in there it was a really uncomfortable atmosphere. There was no music so we could just here the staff chatting. Then they would put on a song and stop it. It was a very strange experience. Overall I would visit again to takeaway.
The sushi was exquisite. Best meal I have had in a while. Would really recommend this place. The service was amazing too. Everyone was so lovely.
