Massive shout-out to the bartender, Joshua, for painfully answering all of my questions and for the great service provided.
I visited for their open mic night and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, but also with the fact the ceiling is less then 6 feet high. I'm 6'4, so it was extremely un
Great friendly place. Serve excellent IPAs and beers. Sell pollys my favourite
Lovely surroundings incredibly clean ,intimate and good value for money. I hope to be a regular. A place where you can hear live music..I attended a fabulous gig with Newport legend Ryan Keyes...big things await him..and would love more of the same.
Arrived dead on 4pm to try this place as there’s not a great deal of craft beer places in Newport! The manager and his dog scout were very welcoming! The manager was even kind enough to make my mum a cocktail too! Selection of retro consoles downstairs too
Didn't have food so can't mark it. Some nice Pale Ales, the Polly's Rosebud was delicious. Some decent beers. Not enough beers for a taproom, I feel they need more options. but the place is nice good atmosphere. I would love to see what it's like at night
Lovely little place. I've been twice so far, for coffee during the day and a pint in the evening. Very friendly staff and a great selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. It has a cosy atmosphere upstairs, haven't tried downstairs yet. Will be keeping my eye on how they progress and I w
Was here for a work colleague birthday. It a converted shop, so space is at a premium. If you like crafted beers and ciders, then you will be ok here. Over two floors, but going down into basement, which is set up as a retro games area. If you are over 6 feet tall, or anywhere near that height, all
Brilliant place for coffee sandwiches and cakes, plus good range of beer and really friendly staff. Great atmosphere too, downstairs is a chill zone with big tables and board games, so you’ll never get bored!
Great little bar, just away from the city centre. A good addition to the Newport beer scene, which has greatly improved in the last few years.
A lovely little pub serving really good beers. Landlord friendly as are the staff very knowledgeable and scout the dog will always greet you.
Recommend as an interesting addition to Newports beer scene
