Amazing food and service with a view to die for! The platter and the seafood were out of this world AMAZING! The bottle of red wine we ordered was also equally just as amazing! All excellent value for money too. We would highly recommend this place to others! :)))
This is a fantastic little restaurant, we’ve been a few times now and it just keeps getting better and better. Paul’s creations are just on point, fresh, in season and local produce. All of the staff are very welcoming and friendly, and more importantly they are good with children and have a lovely children’s menu.
We will always return when in the area.

We visited The Fish House this past week for my partner's birthday. We really enjoyed ourselves and the food was absolutely delicious. Fish restaurants are never usually our 'go-to' eatery of choice but given the already impressive reviews of this establishment, I thought they would suit the occasion and boy did they live up to expectation.
Our waitress was very attentive and having emailed in ahead of time, they gave my partner a welcoming birthday greet as though they already knew which was a nice surprise and a little dessert board with candles on at the end.
We took our 5 yr old girls and even their pasta dish was lovely and we were welcomed with children.
The restaurant is relaxed with a nice atmosphere, you'll find a mixed bag of people (and pooches), although there aren't many tables here.
If I had one criticism, I'd say the service was a little too prompt. We basically did a three course meal in an hour and 15, that said, the restaurant wasn't full at the time we ate (5pm table), but a little extra time between courses would have been nice.
I'd definitely visit again, without a question.
After reading the good reviews, I decided to book a table while visiting from London. We had the seafood sharing platter for starters and the crab & prawn linguine and Hake for the main. All the dishes were nice, but found there were too much herbs in the linguine. The service could have been better. We had to wave down the staff quite a few times, as they were busy chatting away by the bar. Overall, it was a nice experience but thought it quite expensive for that we got.
Mind blowing deliciousness. We ordered the lobster which comes with chips & salad and that was the best £50 we have spent. Lobster is so succulent and sweet, it was packed with flavours … I was holding back on drinking liquid as I wanted the taste to stay in my mouth for longer! We also ordered monk fish in Korean style which is spicy and sweet, that was also superb with the right balance. These are the only 2 dishes we ordered and that was plenty to fill us up. Dessert was strawberry sundae and it was creamy but light and refreshing. 10 out of 10 and think I found my favorite restaurant in the uk.
Really love the experience of having a delicious, rich and authentic seafood dinner next to the most beautiful beach in Newquay. The seafood are fresh and every dish was cooked to perfection. This is a must go, and the restaurant deserves its reputation and name.
An absolutely fantastic seafood restaurant on Fistral beach. The restaurant is a little tucked away compared to the other restaurants nearby but definitely worth investigating. I'm not super into seafood but we had the crab sandwich and prawn arancini and both were so good! The restaurant itself is fairly small with an open kitchen and a fantastic view of the sea. It's going to take something special for me to go anywhere else in Newquay!

Really exceptional experience here in every aspect. Food was phenomenal, service was outstanding and the atmosphere was enchanting. I visited with my husband and two children, the staff where very accommodating and definitely are a big part to play in making this place what it is. There is nothing that could have been done to improve out visit. Highly recommended the lobster.
Had a lovely dinner here, servers were so friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, I would recommend going for the specials. We had the crab and lobster from the specials, as well as the hake and prawns from the normal menu, and an amazing panna cotta for dessert!
Cant rate this place enough, we went for a short break in cornwall and ended up here 2 of our 5 nights! The food is amazing, so many flavours and fresh seafood! Sat outside looking out to the sea, couldn't beat the location! Shout out to Amelia, she was amazing both times we went!
Wonderful Fish restaurant, small with a lovely atmosphere, book well in advance, we have tried the last 2 years but got lucky this year with an early booking.
Super location overlooking Fistral Beach, food was tremendous, my Son and Husband shared a hot shell platter which was amazing. Highly recommended!

The Fish House Fistral was outstanding. Fantastic Lobster, fish tacos cannot be faulted. The only thing is paying £12 for some plan pasta for a 5 year old. But otherwise it was a great meal.
Big fan of the Fish House - we got the call up after a cancellation and were lucky enough to enjoy this amazing find. Warm and friendly staff, great atmosphere and quality food with suited pricing. We went for the large Roasted Hotshell and loved every minute of it. Lovely focaccia to soak up the juices, a fresh Greek salad on the side and the olives to start were a treat. Would highly recommend this place!
An amazing sea-side restaurant that serves locally sourced seafood in Newquay.
We came here for dinner during our visit in Cornwall in the late November. Although in the low tourist season, the restaurant was fully booked on the Monday evening. Luckily, we booked in advance, so highly recommend to plan ahead your visit.
The staff was very friendly and the restaurant is cutely decorated. There’s enough space between neighbouring tables, so you won’t overhear other’s conversations involuntarily.
The food was great - I can tell all the seafood was very fresh and at good quality. The downside was the main dish - the hake with mashed potatoes was a bit too salty for me, but I still enjoyed it with the seasonal vegetables to balance off. My favourite was the seafood sharing platter and the dessert - vanilla pans cotta.
High recommend for anyone visiting Newquay and will visit again!

What a lovely place . Lovely staff too . Plenty of choice on the menu and good selection of wines . Prawn skewers and the prawn curry were out of this world . Already booked again for our next visit to Cornwall in June
If you like seafood, you won’t be disappointed. I love the scallops with shells, king prawns, monkfish. Cocktails and desserts are delicious as well. Service is fantastic, professional, friendly, attentive. To me, this is the best restaurant in Newquay.
The sea view and sunset are gorgeous!
