Best fish and chips in Newquay. The fish tasted beautiful curry sauce was lovely and the chips were well the best and Really great value for money. The staff are happy friendly even when their busy Billy was funny. You have a sea view restaurant area or a covered area to the front

If anyone has seen my reviews before then they know I look for excellence in fish and chips all over the country.
How did The Cod End rate ?
Absolutely top notch.
On advice we ordered the Cod and Chip special at £4.90 .
Look at the photo.
Superb crispy golden light batter matched to beautiful white cod fillet. Proper chips. Served in an environmentally friendly cardboard box.
Outside under cover seating available to eat your take-away.
This rates as one of the best for value and quality that I have visited.

Lovely fish and chips. Popular so a bit of a wait. I parked in their customer parking spaces by the side of the shop and the aldi carpark supervisors sent me a fine as they had my number plate entering and leaving the area, even though i didn't use aldi spaces. I did appeal, and they cancelled the ticket. Thank you.

Lovely food with lovely views, it's as simple as that!
Food is cooked to order, and everything comes out nice and hot. Good quality food and tastes great in general.
To top it off, there's a lovely view of the beach, and I could sit there for hours.
Definitely a recommendation if you're in the area.

Do not get a takeaway, the view, service and importantly the food is top class.
Take time out and sit in the restaurant enjoy the stunning views as well as the great food.
Would of paid more than the actual cost it was that good 👍🏻

The shop doesn’t look great from the outside and the staff slightly slow as they were too busy but still friendly . Medium fish and chips with free side only £7.50 and the fish was excellent . Good batter and v good quality cod .
Worth a try
You can “takeaway “ but sit on covered benches at the front .

Got take away from here a sat outside on the undercover benches.
Staff were friendly , food was fresh and very tasty. Great price £7.50 for medium cod and chips with free side.
Restaurant also available.
Highly recommended!

Excellent portions, friendly staff, everything looks cooked to order, we had half chicken & chips and a kebab wrap & chips. Both cooked to perfection. Lovely crispy skin and tasty chips. Good value for money.

Proper fish and chips place with a stunning view, Looking at the queue, the place is very popular. I had cod special plate with mushy peas, and my husband ordered a seafood basket.The portions were generous, and I normally struggle with soft, soggy chips. These ones were crispy outside and fluffy inside. The perfection would be to serve it with a homemade sauce and a pinch of Cornish sea salt not ready bought.

Good food at decent prices .
Fish is all cooked fresh and worth the wait.
It is worthwhile eating in the dining area at the back for the views alone.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend eating here

Was down in the Cornwall with the family. Fancied fish and chips and this place didn’t disappoint. The only place open at lunch time. Sat in the restaurant at the back with a fantastic view of the beach. Very friendly staff and the food was great. Much better than the chip shops mid country.

Come across this place whilst trying to find fish and chips.
Lovely amazing views of the sea, food amazing and yummy.
Only downside is the windows could do with a good clean to have a better view outside

This English chippy restaurant is conveniently located next to all the local amenities. I went for a meal here on Thursday afternoon. I walked in and got a sea view table without pre-booking.
The restaurant was clean, tidy, and spacious. The tables were laid out nicely leaving reasonable space between each other. The toilet was clean and smelt fresh.
The menu offered a good range of dishes and they were reasonable prices for the area. The special fish and chips is worth sampling because the fish is fresh plus it is a decent size portions.
The overall service from start to finish was excellent. Waiters were available when I wanted a coffee after my meal. I had an overall pleasant dining experience here. For this reason, I highly recommend going to the The Cod End chippy restaurant. You will not be disappointed!
