Really enjoyed my drink here. Beautiful 13th century building with it's thatched roof a major feature. So beautifully maintained and brings so much character to the experience in going here. Very low ceilings, variety of drink choices. Sums old and new Cornwall up perfectly

The burgers and chips hit the mark, delicious! Classic basic pub food, but executed very well. Exactly what I wanted after a day at the beach.

“It’s ok” food was nice enough, scampi was pleasant, steak pie was a tad dry and the kids portions were very small indeed. Despite the really friendly service I probably wouldn’t rush back. We needed a table at late notice for a bite to eat and it served a purpose.

Lovely warm welcome in this beautiful inn not far from holywell beach. Dog friendly with a lovely photo gallery of visiting doggos.
The food was lovely with very generous portions. We couldn't eat it all because we were very full.
It's a regular tradition to stop for tea when visiting the area.

We stayed in Holywell and tried this pub as it was close to the resort and the beach. We were not disappointed. There is an array of different seating in the garden and also inside, we didn’t find it difficult to get seated. Food and drinks were reasonably priced. Food was absolutely fantastic- we visited two weeks ago and my partner still talks about the pasta dish he had. The building itself it lovely, especially with the thatched roof as you never see this anymore! I’m not sure if the pub is wheelchair accessible as I think there are steps to get in (maybe they have a ramp), but the lower garden seats would be fine to pull a wheelchair up to.

Sunday dinner was delicious ... was just slightly expensive 16 pound for a roast dinner. But you expect these prices for Cornwall. Staff was friendly lovely place would definitely go again.

Wonderful friendly pub with a lovely lady on the bar. The lunch menu had lots of different cheesy chips, ciabatta, main meals and kids meals. We all had cheesy chips. Just what we were after after a long walk on the beach.
Looks dark when you first walk in but a lovely bright room that you can eat and drink in at the back.

Great atmosphere, a lovely traditional pub. Food was amazing and the views across Holywell Bay were spectacular. We travel up from London once a year and we’re never disappointed :)
