Can't fault this place. Service was very quick and polite. After our order was taken we were given appetisers, which were tasty. Our food was cooked just right. Couldn't fault the flavour, presentation or portion size. Definitely a gem in Newquay and worth every penny.

My work mate and myself came here as the mexican across the road was shut and we weren't disappointed!!! The food was amazing and he gave us free bread, hummus salad etc.. Owner was very nice friendly and will definitely come back again.

Came in here very late after some beers, although they were closing in 20 minutes, they allowed me to order and eat in. The staff here were great to be fair. It's on a busy stretch so parking is an issue, you'll need to find somewhere first. Prices are not bad, they've got a bar too, which always helps lol
Food wasn't bad, it was satisfactory, not amazing, not bad either. It was the customer service that stood out for me here.....

Lovely restaurant! The food was beautiful, the service was very good. As a family of four we very much enjoyed our time. We ordered to classic lamb chops and mixed kebab. The meat was very tender and food very fresh. Would highly recommend this place, the food was brilliantly cooked. 👏

This is a great restaurant with an authentic menu. The bread comes straight out of the charcoal oven and with the ezme and hummus is a great starter. My Dad had the lambs liver starter and said it was the best he'd tasted. My Mum had sea bream for a main and it was cooked and flavoured beautifully. I had the stuffed aubergine main which they were happy to make vegan for me and it tasted great. And the chips were a great side. Portions were large so had to get some to take away with us. Service was great, friendly and happy to cater for different dietary requirements. Will definitely be back.

Despite not having booked a reservation, I was made very welcome and was seated immediately. I was expecting a half hour wait for my perfectly cooked sea bream and was given a complimentary flat bread while I was waiting. The cay tea and delicious dessert rounded off a wonderful dining experience.

The staff are respectful. The good is just so amazing, very delicious with mouthgasm flavours. I highly recommend it if you visit Cornwall.

Had my wife's birthday dinner at this lovely well presented Turkish restaurant. As visitors in Newquay, we were initially worried, but I am confident to say that this is one of the best restaurants in Newquay.
Delicious meals, nice staff and great atmosphere... I will visit again if in Newquay!

I'm not one to normally complain but unfortunately the food was that bad it managed to upset my stomach I'm not too sure if a Greek minced lamb koffe is supposed to be virtually raw and smell like wet dog as I haven't had it before in a restaurant for a comparison but I honestly did not like it and when asked by the waitress if it was too much or did I not enjoy it and mentioned that is was a little undercooked even for my liking and pointed at red meat no attention was payed to what I had brought up in our discussion and handed a bill not good sorry

Such a lovely restaurant. Gorgeous food with amazing staff, they even entertained our terrible 2's toddler and his tantrums. The complimentary ouzo at the end just topped the night Highly recommend the rum baba dessert - wow!!

We have never been to Newquay, so was looking for places to eat. This was opposite our hotel, so we have it a try. We didn’t book, and it was Saturday night. The person that greeted us quickly cleared and prepared the only table for two left. It was Saturday, so they were busy. We were in no rush. The food was hot and delicious - try the Moussaka. It’s all very reasonable priced at well. Definately worth a visit.

3 years ago I would of given this 4/5 stars. Went back with the wife for old times sake. Friendly staff, however. Over cooked, overpriced bland food. Really really poor, should not be £22 per head for a mezze, worth about £5. Will not be eating here EVER again

Waited nearly two hours for our main course to arrive. When it finally did, it wasn't what we ordered. We asked the owner for a discount and his response was "F**k off". Causing a massive scene in the middle of the restaurant floor in front of all of his customers. Many other tables got up and walked out as they were waiting much to long for their orders. Most unpleasant restaurant I have ever been and would encourage others to stay away

Such lovely and attentive staff, I can't praise them highly enough! From the moment we stepped in to the restaurant we were made to feel so welcome. The decor is so charming, with classic murals and wall plates thst make you feel like you're really on one of the Greek islands!
The meals we had were beautifully cooked, and really tasty! The waitresses who looked after us were so cheery and helpful.
We had a lovely evening at Stavros, and will definitely be recommending them to all my friends!

What an awful experience this was. Never before have I been treated so badly at a restaurant. We had to ask for menus, drinks, plates to be cleared. Starters took 45 minutes to come out. Cooked the wrong dish for 3 of our main courses. And when we complained and demanded the food we'd ordered, we were treated horribly, told we'd have to wait another half hour. When we complained we were told 'come on man, you've just had your starters'. And when we forced them to come up with a solution, we were told to 'just get up and f*** off'. We were so shocked, we all decided that was the best option. While leaving we had abuse hurled at us by the owner, who also aggressively marched towards us with a clenched fist, followed by his chef who unsurprisingly replicated the hospitality skills shown by his boss by grabbing my friend by his shirt and shoving him towards the exit. We hastily left, still hungry, walking past other customers who also looked gobsmacked. I also want to add, while we were waiting for our starters, 2 other tables walked out in disgust at how they were being treated, hopefully they will write a review as I have done to warn off potential customers.
