Venus Cafe

We stood and ordered one coffee, three portions of fish and chips a pasty meal which comprised of a pasty and coffee and a portion of chips, two cans of coke. We repeated the order as did the cashier at least three times. We were charged over £50. We waited to receive our meal to then be given two cups of hot milk-no coffee and two cans. Three fish and chips, a pasty and chips a pasty meal were offered. We thought it was for the chap behind us, but nope it was our incorrect order!! No wonder we were charged so much. So when we questioned it, it took the staff a great deal of effort to sort out whAt had happened then they offered a refund. We said we would just take the food as it was a faff and we had two hungry children waiting. They insisted in the refund and took away the extra food. Good job they did as the pasty was pretty raw. Most of it was just doughy. Wouldn’t visit again!
