It was only after our second visit to the Parkers Arms that it came up on my feed that we'd been the exact same day the year before!
Still as good, food and wine superb. Not cheap but a wonderful all-around nice place with warm welcome and quirky nature.
Can recommend 👌
Warm and friendly welcome
staff. We had the £50 each menu choice of 3 for each course . Lovely starters we were asked if any allergies and cucumber was served in the salad even though we mentioned it on ordering . Main course pie was excellent the herb lamb meal was 3 slices of lamb with vegetables
Been for a drink previously so was on my radar to visit. AJ is always friendly and chatty and just happened to be the father of someone that worked for lèclume, where we dined on Friday.
The three course lunch menu had something for everyone; fish, game and the wine list was extensive and nice to kn
We had the Easter 3 course menu April 23 and was absolutely blown away. One of the best meals we've ever had in our lives. The atmosphere is great and staff friendly, it's our new favourite place. We live 2.5 hours away but have already booked to come back again soon! Amazing and would highly recomm
This place is doing everything right.
Visited for my partners birthday celebrations after seeing the Parkers Arms ratings in the gastro pub awards.
It's easy to see why this place has won the accolade of the best gastropub in the UK, they offer great service and brilliant food in a in a stunning
Unfortunately we were late in arriving due to a complete loss of Google maps. The greeting we received was cold and abrupt and our apologies were not accepted. However this mood changed abruptly and we had an enjoyable and delicious meal. The route that we were advised to follow for our return was l
Tremendous food. Left absolutely stuffed, really generous portions. The cheese pie is probably the best pie I’ve ever had, cracking home made bread, and a first class cheese board from the Courtyard dairy, all washed down with some good local ale. The gent behind the bar and our server were both rea
A warm welcome and excellent ales on sunny day. What more could you want? Oh... yes, possibly something to eat. We didnt want any food since we'd had lunch already but the menu and ambience in the dining room looked great.
Just had the 3 course menu, great
choice of dishes and the food was amazing, the staff are so friendly and make you feel so very welcome, I can not recommend visting the Parkers Arms enough, just a lovely experience.
Amazing meal - each course was delightful- staff lovely and an all round lovely evening. Highly recommend and well worth the 45 minute drive through the Trough of Bowland from Lancaster 😊
We had an absolutely fantastic lunch for my father's birthday. Food was as good, if not better than expected. The owners are friendly and chatty and made the experience even better. It's definitely worth all the hype.
We had a fantastic meal for my husbands birthday.
The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was great.
It was the best mashed potato I’ve ever had!
We’ll definitely be back :D
The food was the best I’ve ever had, apart from my Mam’s?
Staff were welcoming and polite.
I’d be a regular if I lived closer!!
Memborable experience for all the right reasons. No fussing, relaxed atmosphere with 5 star food. The four of us felt the same. Everything that came out of the kitchen was fresh and delicious and whoever is in there knows about seasoning and obviously loves food.
I don’t really know what to say other than the venue, hospitality and food are always exceptional at the Parker’s Arms. Front of House is warm and welcoming and that theme continues all through the meal. We love the place 😊
Had lunch with my wife, and although the lunch menu was limited, we had their walkers sandwiches, which were delicious.
