Used to be my local but hadn't been in since moving to Devon 21years ago. Has under gone a refurbishment at some point and improved an already excellent local hostelry, one member of staff recognised me after that long. The service is as good as ever, will definitely pop in again when in the area.

We went to the Victoria on Saturday Night for our Christmas meal. Unfortunately 3 people had to cancel last minute but Manager was really nice about it and did not charge for them. The food and service were excellent. Steaks were cooked spot on and the special made Nut Roast for our Vegetarian was delicious. The drinks are reasonable priced and we had a great Night. Manager and Staff are lovely and we would definitely book there again. Thank you so much x

Great service and good food at reasonable price! Friendly staff Catherine took really good care of us! She introduced us to the nearby attractions after knowing we are new to this area, had a chit chat with us and made sure we are comfortable! Food is delicious, apple pie is yummy! A good place to hangout!

Very nice pub with great choice of drinks. Rear garden really nice and great play area for little peeps. Well worth a visit. Staff really nice too.
