We had a really excellent meal last night at the Cree Inn, to celebrate my son's 15th birthday. The staff were attentive and really friendly, the dining area was cosy (if a little cool) and comfortable, and the food was excellent. This is not 'pub grub', it was excellent quality, beautifully cooked

We ate in the bar due to having dogs with us. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating or helpful and the food was excellent.
Could do with enabling someone else to take payments though, I had to wait quite a while for a gaggle of teen-agers who made it to the bar just before me...

The waiters here are very nice and the food is delicious, we are definitely coming back. There was no one there when we went which was sad as it is one of the nicest restaurants we have been to. More people should come here. It is the nicest place to have an evening meal in Newton Stewart. Has a bet

Absolutely loved this Restaurant, Fantastic Choice of High Quality Food at Very Reasonable Prices, Great Kid's Menu. Service was Excellent and definitely The Best Chips we'd ever tasted....anywhere in the UK. Highly Recommended
