If you are looking for an amazing cooked meal then this is your stop. The owner is the host, waiter and chef. Amazing service and food. It was all local food and the venison was from the down the road. And the deserts were to die for. Seriously check this place out.
Yes, you have to wait a bit longer and yes, the meal portion is not very big, but the quality of the food is great and the staff are very friendly. Even if I like „fish and chips“ it is refreshing to get here other dishes than burger and fish and chips, like monkfish, dug and venison. Also excellent

This place is special. The chef/ owner is amazing. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted even better.
Decided to grab a later dinner after visiting Inverness and stopped here. We weren’t expecting many options for 8pm, let alone good options but the Letter Box far exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing and everything tasted homemade. Will definitely come back when we visit Scotland again.
