Oriel Davies Cafe - Newtown - Photo album

We stopped here on our way through Newtown. What a wonderful retreat this fantastic cafe and gallery is. Serene setting and wonderful fresh thoughtful fair trade, organic and vegan lunches. Can’t wait to come back!
A quirky little gallery in the park, the Oriel Davies Gallery is host to a regularly changing exhibition, cafe and gift shop. The staff are friendly and the cafe good quality. The gift shop stock books, cards and a range of more local products.
Wonderful little gallery, there’s always something interesting in the exhibits and especially great considering they are free! I also love the gift shop - if you are shopping for an arty child or adult then there’s definitely something lovely in there that they won’t have seen before! Always worth a
Great little gallery, go there as much as I can. Has a cafe and gift shop. Displays a lot of contemporary art, which I like. Best of all it is free, I do try to make a donation at the door as I know they need the funding.
Lovely Place and Staff all very pleasant. Amazing seeing the Knife Angel, Very Emotional.
Nice but pricey shop. Varying exhibitions. Well worth seeing what is new
Awesome coffee at the cafe, Tim is super friendly
This gallery is so great. Activities with artists. Beautiful crafted items to purchase. The staff and manager Kate so friendly, remember you and inclusive to all.
Lovely modern building. Always good exhibitions. Plus a nice cafe with tasty light lunches. Great place to sit and chat and enjoy the view. Also there are great strolls to be had close by, alongside the river.
I was fascinated by the local community art and poetry being exhibited when I visited. The gallery is spacious enough to feel free to stand and observe, but small enough to be intimate. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
