The Cosy Chair - Newtownabbey - Photo album

I love this place and have been a customer for many years. Everything is baked fresh on the premises each day. The decor is quaint and has a classic tea room/parlour feel. It is as stated 'Cosy'. The back of the building has beautiful views of Belfast Lough. To top all that off it is inexpensive cos
Great for hot drinks and buns. Lovely relaxed and homely feel.
As the name says, cosy. Good cakes. Nice teapots and cups and saucers. Dad liked the design on his mocha.
Nice setting, really nice furniture. Great baked goods and coffee, nice relaxing place, significantly better priced than a chain coffee house. Way better experience as well, 100% recommended. Try the raspberry white chocolate scone
What a beautiful place and the scones are delicious ! We had coffee, hot choc and a lemon and coconut scone ( delicious !) And a toffee apple with a crunchie topping ( delicious!) With jam and cream ! Never tasted scones like it and next time im passing will be a defo stop again!
Wonderfully understated coffee shop in whiteabbey. Went here for afternoon tea (book before to avail of afternoon tea) and for the price we got a fantastic offering. Soup to start and then a selection of buns and scones with a hot drink. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to go back
Always busy guys so I would advise to visit during quieter times as parking can be a nightmare and getting a seat can be difficult. The good thing is though their is an upstairs seating area which is open during busy times, good for those who are able to climb stairs but for those who can't it's not
We were able to sit outside here with the dog. Very friendly lady provided him with a bowl if water. Excellent selection of gluten free buns.
Wonderful choice of scones, cakes, traybakes, service second to none and really quaint surroundings all at a very respectfully reasonable price. I love bringing my Mum and Dad here 🥰
The Cosy Chair has a slight barrier to overcome for first timers as there are two doors but only one to enter. You also can't see inside so you don't know what to expect. It's well worth entering through the left door. It is small and cosy inside. I had a reasonably priced coffee and a heated cherry
Love love love the cosy chair... what a way to shake off the stress. I come here with my daughter for quality time. V special place. Just make sure there's plenty of chocolate cake for her. 😁🍰🍰🍰
Great tea room decorated in cerise pink/black. I just love their variety of homemade scones. Fancy matching teapots and cups.
Lovely scone with real cream and jam Glad they don't use plastic jam and squirty cream like so many other places Cream also has nice vanilla hint Very enjoyable and nice friendly staff Also very important toilet lovely and clean
We both enjoy coffee. Scones. Esp lemon drizzle with cream or fruit cake. Must try. Staff so friendly. Convenient for us to jordanstown and greenisland. Even for children and grandchildren. Rita newberry
Cosy, welcoming and an incredible range of fresh scones
Lovely quaint little place offering a wide range of scones, cakes and much more. Service and food was good.
