Review Spice Lounge Indian Bar & Restaurant - Norbury

I visited the spice lounge last night for a function and had an amazing night. The DJ created a nice vibe around the place with 80 and 90s classic R&B. The food we ordered (Talipia fish) was gorgeous and the drinks were great. The staff appreciated it's customers and looked after everyone. Even the toilet paper was that soft kind (little things) not the tracing paper you get in most restaurants. I asked everyone I knew what they thought of their food and they all have it too marks. The garden area outside is a lovely space. Will defo be going back.

Incredible experience. The food was 10/10. We ordered (table of 4) about 10-12 dishes and each one was incredible. The little touches made all the difference, galangal as garnish, Chaat masala onions etc. Cannot wait to come back, a superb experience.

A combination of classic Indian dishes coupled with some unusual dishes. Took recommendations from the waiter and his suggestions were delicious. They also have a good selection of beer including Cobra on draft.

One of the best places in South London to eat authentic Indian food. The taste isnt sacrificed for the masses as you would find in most places. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Simply put, it's a must!

Excellent authentic Indian cuisine. Don't expect a vindaloo, korma or tikka masala because you won't find it! All food is true to its country of origin with no colourings or preservatives added. Ask Viral the owner for advice and he will willingly guide you through their menu. Beware, the starters are enormous, each is enough for two people. The lamb chops are to die for, 4 in a portion, slightly pink and beautifully tender but still with the outside crunch that the tandoor oven gives. Shami kebabs are lovely & meaty, 4/5 in a portion. You'll notice the difference in quality from other Indian restaurants believe me. Mains are all good, mushroom rice is great as an accompaniment. Try a paratha as well as the naan. It's thin and flakey and great for diving in the sauces! Prices are very reasonable as well, maybe a couple of quid more than other curry houses but certainly worth it.

Absolutely amazing food, traditional Indian with a small menu which the chef cooks extremely well. It's definitely worth going.

Hidden gem in South London. Whilst North West London is renowned for its Indian food. This place definitely gives them a run for their money.

Very good but price of 1 pint is £6 too much same thing you can get for £3 in weatherspoon, too much even it's not draft beers in cans, food is very good, increase price too much even nan cost nearly £4
