Hoyt’s isn’t just the place to get a Legrand burger for lunch. The menu provides a wealth of options with each item better than the last. If you do go here for the burger they sometimes do fun variations on the original that do not disappoint. Definitely get the macaroni salad.

Hoyt’s has a nice relaxed vibe and a super friendly staff. The faux ruben is super tasty. We did ask for the bread not to be buttered like most rubens. The white fish salad is pack with flaky white fish and served with matzo bread. While tasty it is difficult to finish with all the salt. 5 stars if you can get them to cut the sodium.

Chef Stephen Marsh revives the long-lost lunch counter with his take on a classic Jewish eatery, be it a non-kosher one.
Daily specials like a beef tongue sandwhich share menu space with smoked whitefish salad, turkey sandwiches, and a vegetarian take on a pastrami sandwich. Shiptown devotees will be pleased to see one of the seafood joint's best deserts on the menu, along with a delicatessen staple, rugelach.
Bonus for those hoping to grab a bite and go: Hoyt's offers carryout.

I’m so glad I finally got to try this lunch spot! I got the mortadella sandwich on a whim at the recommendation of our server, Mark, who was super funny and helpful. The buffalo celery root side felt like it could be on the menu at LeGrand; the macaroni salad was amazing and a perfect sandwich pairing. I wish this place was open on the weekends so I could get there more often!

Had the matzo ball soup, the LeGrand burger, and a chocolate egg cream. Everything was awesome. The staff was welcoming and prompt. I will definitely include this restaurant in my colley lunch rotation.
The soup was perfect on the drizzly 50 degree day. Just like you'd expect from a NY style deli. The added dill was a neat kick.
The burger, which was recommended to me by the patrons sitting next to me at the deli style bar, was incredibly tasty. This is definitely one of the top burgers in the area.
Finally, the chocolate egg cream was reminiscent of a childhood soda jerk style dessert that brought back all sorts of happy memories.

Great little spot on Colley. Staff was friendly and the owner was very kind to my family. Food was good and I tried their gin and milk. Very unique and cool that I haven't seen it offered anywhere in town. If you are looking for a quick bite give them a try.

Great new twists on classic luncheonette dishes. Awesome service and a great location.

We have eaten here twice and been impressed both times. They have a great happy hour with half off cocktails and the LeGrand burger with a draught beer for $8, which you can't beat. We have also eaten their wings, which were perfectly cooked (flavors change weekly I think).
Staff was very friendly, overall a great spot and I can't wait to try their sandwiches at lunch.
