Jersey Mike's Subs

Less than a couple of days ago my husband and I mutually agreed to try some sandwiches from Jersey Mike's in Norfolk Virginia (on Hampton boulevard) especially because fortunately he had some coupons from his work that were good for getting free sandwiches. My husband chose a roast beef and provolone sandwich (the number 6) and he liked his sandwich. I chose to try the number 12 the Cancro special that comes with pepperoni roast beef and provolone and I too enjoyed my sandwich with some Miss Vickies vinegar and sea salt kettle cooked chips and sharing a rootbeer with my hubby. The employees giving us our food were very polite.

Let me say this, it is the go to place for subs in this family. WAWA comes in second. The food is hot, its fresh and i give 5 stars everytime. There is also a day when kids can eat free. I want to say it is Tuesday or Sunday. Go to the store and order, or call and pick it up. These food delivery apps add to much to the bill.

Normally the subs are pretty decent and average. This last visit was a train wreck. What seemed like a new employee destroyed my sandwich when wrapping it. Kid crushed it with his bodyweight and couldn't wrap it properly. Needed another employee to assist him wrapping it. Currently eating my sub that looks like it was ran over by a truck.

Sandwich places aren't usually my favorite because often times it's stuff you can make at home. Jersey Mike's was good though. Fresh tasting ingredients. I liked that they slice the meets in front of you. Definitely get the juice on your sub it really does make the sandwich. If I'm ever craving a sub I'll likely come back here.

I love this place more than Subwy. I usually get the #7 but this time I tried one of their hot subs, the Chicken Philly and it did not disappoint. It was nice and hot and had everything I asked for on it. The reward point that you get are a plus as well if you are a part of the program. I get free subs quite often. I would definitely recommend this place.
