I would like to say thank you starting with the Lady who answered the phone who was efficient but most importantly pleasant! Also to the person who prepared my food as it was perfect, and delicious! Last but not least the delivery driver who brought it to me hot and in record time but most importantly was also very pleasant. I wish I knew all of your names but thanks for the most pleasant experience I've ever had while ordering in. Thank you!

I was sitting here in Ghana Africa and the thaught came to me and I asked my wife what was the name of that sub place in Norfolk we use to always order from. I was stationed in Norfolk VA on the USS IWO JIMA from 1992 to 93 until it was decommissioned. Then to the USS WASP from 93 to 96. We use to always order from Cals Pizza and Subs. I always got the cheese steak sub and the Suicide wings. They were definitely the best around hands down. It's been 30 years and they still run across my mine from time to time. When ever I'm back in the Tidewater area I will definitely stop by and order something for old times sake. It's good to see they are still in business and still servings the Navy and Virginia.

It has been years since I have been here. The one thing I can say I still received the same great service as the first time. They are consistent and treat everyone friendly. Next the food you definitely get more than what you pay for. Their suicide wings are no joke with good flavor, that being said it is very hot.

Terrible experience. I tried to talk to management. I really didn’t want to leave a bad review but she refused to listen or take feedback over the phone. I ordered online and went there about 25 minutes later. The food was not ready. I waited another 30 minutes before getting my food. Apparently it wasn’t done. I took my pizza and wings home. The wings had no sauce or dressing. I called and tried to let management know. I didn’t want any compensation or anything, just figured management would care to know. I was told the mild sauce on wings is clear like butter. These dry wings do not have any butter. Butter would have helped it. Either way. Don’t bother. This place was dirty and not worth the price. Go across the street to mikes pizza. They at least care enough to clean their place.

The atmosphere didn't seem good. Heard the floor guy yelling at the workers in the back. There were dusty countertops. Looked disorderly. No one was wearing gloves. I did see people working the counter go directly back to handle and make food. Got a large meat our pizza. The pizza box was heavy, which is fine. But the thing is the sauce was really sweet and off-putting and the pizza wasn't sliced very well. Chicken strips were very sad tasting. The bbq sauce wasn't for me either. Sweet and sour. Maybe they grabbed the wrong sauce.

I would like to share my recent visit. As much as people have raved about this place. I in-fact didnt really enjoy the visit. The calzone was extremely stuffed with pepperoni rarely saw cheese inside or even slight of marinara, the curly fries was dry and unseasoned not even salt, and last but not the best the gyros. I in fact was hoping to see better but it definitely was not tzatziki sauce no did it look fresh. The people were phenomenal and excellent customer service. 2nd visit I emailed back and got instant reply and very respectable, called the restaurant and spoke to ben went back up there, he apologized and remade our order and he did a phenomenal job. I have to say this is our new spot because the quality of the food was amazing. I recommend this restaurant to anyone. 5 out of 5. Amazing amazing and amazing.
