Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Always seen these in Texas but never tired one. But let me say was very impressed. If you like some good food try it seems something like clean eats. But the smoothies omg the Bahama mama I would say is a must try. Also the chicken Chipotle Flatbread and the avocado grilled cheese. You can add different stuff to.the smoothies like fat burners peptide protein among other stuff.

I ordered the Detox Island Green. The smoothie was mixed well - not too thick, not too runny. When I walked in, I thought they were closing. The chairs were on top of the tables, and they were mopping the floor. According to the posted hours, they didn't close until 9 pm. It was around 7 pm. I know a lot of places are closing early, but I was told they were not about to close. Perhaps they were just getting a big head start. Or, maybe they were no longer open for dine-in service.

My wife and I ordered 2 smoothies. Her smoothie was great! My smoothie was not.. The pieces of ice were so large that it made the smoothie pretty much undrinkable. It had fat burner in it but it was still in a tablet form in the smoothie so it was pretty terrible biting into a chalky disgusting tablet. I couldn't stomach any more so I just threw it away.

When I walked in on yesterday around 12pm, no one was in the store. I told the cashier I wanted the new dragonfruit smoothie, she responded "that she was sorry last night they ran out of starfruit". So I corrected her and said, "no I say I wanted the dragonfruit one". She took my order, name, and I paid and waited. Then walked in a man, he placed his order, then a couple walked in and placed their order as well. So now its 4 of us waiting for smoothies, 10 minutes past, the man after me and the couple all get their smoothies. So the cashier say "hey are you here for pickup", I say "no you took my order", so she goes into the refrigerator and looks, she finds my order and says "oh they put it here and says sorry about that" with a giggle. I read my sticker on the cup it said "to go". I then noticed it was 2 people in the back, in addition to the cashier. This was my 1st time going to this location, and definitely my last.

Couldn't get my order right. I ordered a avocadolada with chocolate. They asked white chocolate or dark chocolate. I said Chocolate, white chocolate isn't chocolate. They made it with white chocolate. I asked they to remake it and they did. Same smoothie with the white chocolate they already added and then they added a minute amount of chocolate. Tastes wrong, so wrong. No where do you order chocolate and get white chocolate except tropical smoothie. White 'chocolate' is a byproduct; it is chocolate fat. No one orders chocolate flavor for white chocolate. And these people can't even follow instuctions. Waste of money and a total disappointment.
