This place is a hit or miss but mostly a miss. They stay closed when it's open hours, which sucks when I drive 25 mins to get there.
They are always so slow. They never open on time. The chicken has a funny taste like gasoline or something. The okra is under cooked or burnt. I found something black in my drink which looked like 🐀 dropping! Never again will I get here. I will pay toll fee and go to the one.

These people are horrible. They told me that it would be 20 minutes until the chicken would be ready so I ordered a 3-piece and fries and then was told that they don't have any fries. When I asked what they do have the girl at the window said we don't have anything right now with the tone of an attitude so I left. Better off eatin at Pollard's

I was very disappointed in this Portsmouth franchise. The building & grounds needs much upkeep. The chicken was tasteless (literally & figuratively). Lastly ,some "corporate brainchild" came up with a peach cobbler dessert .It really is a biscuit (uncut & dry) with just enough pieces of peach & sauce to legally call it peach cobbler. Save your money & your appetite for better choices.

This has to be the worst experience I've had here. I only come here once or twice a year. I'm used to waiting in a drive-thru for fresh food, but this spot is ridiculous. 20+ minutes. Mostly at order board. They literally never have what we want, staff is always rude af & it's always some drama.

This place needs so remodeling. The food is never fresh, the service is slow, and there’s never spicy chicken. On top of that, they sometimes run out of hot sauce and honey. The drive thru has a thousand potholes and the system used to order just looks worn out. This place needs some maintenance.

The mac and okra was not fresh. 12 piece chicken had 8 HALF backs, 2 thighs, 1 wing and 1 VERY small leg. The only thing good was the apple pies.

The lady who took my order was very friendly. I told her where I am from, that we do not have Churche's chicken. During our small talk, she asked where I was from. She is also a native of the same city and state that I reside in. It was nice speaking to here.
