The Lagoon

My second visit and I must say not too happy with it. Service was so so and they were running out of everything we were trying to order and the waitress forgot our salads with our meal. Hope it gets better . My first visit was amazing! My third and final visit! The she crab soup has been better but the staff needs to be replaced. The loud dirty filthy conversation that could be heard from a mile away including the staff was horrible. I was hoping someone would be mature and say hey guys that's not professional but no this went on for the entire meal. If I heard one more penis or vagina reference I would hurl. I'm done eating there. Hopefully the management learns from this review.

Stopped by for the first time on my lunch break. Ordered the crab cake burger with fries for $14.99. The bartender was very attentive and kind. However the food... The fries looked as if they had been cooked twice to the point they were over cooked and even with ranch I couldn't eat them. The burger came with a nice sized crab cake on it. But it was unseasoned. The bun was barely toasted and the sliced tomatoes were old (turning white not juicy), has to be left over from yesterday. To list this plate at $14.99 is ridiculous. I mentored to the bartender about the fries and she discounted the meal. Again she was very kind but the food was terrible. I would not recommend anyone to eat here.

I went to The Lagoon about a week ago. Our bartender was cool. The first round was on her and that was because me and my two girlfriends were sitting at the bar for about 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. I got the Lagoon special which is the steak and two sides, also served with a salad. It was wonderful. I will be returning.

Wasn't pleased at all. Ordered the flounder stuffed with crab, the crab was bland and the fish tasted like it had been already cooked and just reheated. My fiancee got the blackened scallops and they also tasted like the had been cooked & reheated to serve to someone. Sat at the bar area and had to wait 15 min before someone even came over and helped us. Once our waitress came over she was attentive throughout dinner.
