If i could give this 0 or negative stars i would. Food was okay at best, but what was 1 star worthy was the service! We only saw the waiter when he asked us what to drink, what to order, and when he brought us food. The worst part was after we were done eating, my dad paid for my grandmother as it was her birthday and my dad, sister, my mom, and I left first and my grandmother was heading out the door when one of the servers SHOUTED AT HER AND CORNERED HER saying my dad needs to tip better ( the service was not even top worthy, lucky he got a tip ) and he made my poor grandma tip him more or she wasn’t allowed to leave! Would not recommend to anyone in town.

This place has the absolute BEST egg drop soup! I've also had their chicken fried rice, Crab Rangoons, Hot Tea and Egg rolls, not once was I disappointed with the food. I have been a handful of times and have never had a bad experience. I know alot of the reviews on here have made comments about servers being pushy or rude. Sometimes the cultural difference is something to take into consideration when choosing to go to a place like this. If it's something you can't handle then go have some Hy-Vee Chinese. It's always pretty quiet when I go which is nice! I have never had to wait very long for food either. We are seen by a server almost immediately after being seated. They will typically bring soup out and then any rolls or ragoons before they bring your main entrees, this helps the wait go by faster as well. Please don't go souly off of reviews. Go try it for yourself!

I so wanted to stiff the waiter to see if they really would chase me through the parking lot to shame me out of $3, but I just couldn't do it to the guy. Even though he wasn't great, hardly bad enough to get the stiff on the tip. I don't think he liked me much though cause I kept bugging him for stupid things like, tea, water, too go containers and to take my payment. So when I asked for crispy noodles for my soup, he snapped back that they got rid of those 10 years ago but he would sell me some crab rangoon. The lady up front wasn't mean at all, like the other reviews mentioned. Though she didn't help the waiter do much of anything. The food. Ok let's get to the food. First off I really didn't want to go to this place I wanted to do take out, but their menu isn't listed on line. 10 years and you can't add a menu? OK... Guess I will do it for you. The food was just OK. Not bad. Best in Norfolk, but that says very little. We will order again, but I am sure it will be take out. I will write another review if I can get the lady up front to go off on me.

These people are incredibly rude. Their food is barely marginal at best. They refuse to answer their phone the majority of the time but won't provide an online ordering service. They think b/c they're the only chinese place around that they can be horrible to customers & have a "take it or leave it" mentality . It's just piss poor customer service.

If I could give zero stars I would. At first everything was okay. Then the waiter started complaining about things, he said that we drank to much water, and that he had to constantly come refill our waters. Then when we were leaving we didn’t tip because of the service we received. The server then proceeded to chase us out of the building demanding that I come back in and give him a tip, and when I told him “no” and explained why. He cussed us out.

I love Panda Garden. Glad to see them open again. Feel like there must be some problems because some people had waited over 45 minutes to get their order taken. There was 1 woman at the counter and a waiter. He was friendly, she, not so much. Will continue to go back because I love the food and hate to see them close permanently. Whatever the issue is, I'm sure it will get better.
