This was such a great surprise. We're staying up the road and to have such a great pub on our doorstep really makes the trip. The staff were fantastic, super helpful and attentive. Our pup even got some dog treats from behind the bar. Highly recommended. Special mention to the chap running the place
I didn't eat at this pub but there was plenty of people who were so its definitely popular. It's right next to the river Soar so we had a lovely view while having our drinks. The staff were friendly and the service was very good. It's also dog friendly.
Been back again! Food and wine really good, very reasonable too. Good variety and specials menu.
Relaxing atmosphere alongside the 'canal'. My wife and I had a fantastic lunch of a pure meat burger, char grilled, onion rings, skinned chips and a platter of 3 cheeses, pork pie, smoked ham, 3 ciabatta bread, salad, butter and onion jam. Really well cooked and presented with a good all round menu.
