Fantastic service and welcome from Tammy and Phil. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and drink - particularly the sauerkraut. Worth a stop in for the lively atmosphere and sports as well as food.

It is a nice venue to enjoy a lovely afternoon tea with a friend or as a family. The place was spacious with lots of seats to keep social distancing on place. I appreciated the friendliness of staff during the service as they were very helpful in choosing the beverages.

Popped in this afternoon afternoon taking our 5 rear old daughter for a chest X-ray. Restaurant doesn’t start serving until 5. We didn’t realise but the wonderful staff opened the kitchen early for us and the food was excellent. The chicken burger was fantastic. All in all, a very good meal great food and excellent customer service. Looking forward to Sunday roast. Such a lovely place to go.

Used this pub over a period of some 40 years. Many landlords many memories. Presently it's in great shape. Good beer, good prices and very smart.

Food was plentiful and delicious, service was good, order double checked with my group and check back done. Staff polite. Nothing to do with food or service but the conservatory where we were seated was really shabby. Numerous roman blinds were falling off their fixings. All it would take is strong glue and a step ladder to fix as the velcro had come away from the fixings.

Good public house nice locals always happy and friendly. Food is good and the beer is reasonably priced. Big Pub lots of space. Garden has dry areas and outdoor heating which in the winter nights is a must. Good place 5 star from me.

Moving from Wales to somewhere new was daunting at first. I've always been one to enjoy socialising at a pub and Tammy, Phil and all the staff at the Bedes Lea have made me feel so welcome. From always being greeted with smiles, enjoying amazing food to endless laughter and wonderful themed nights. The Bedes is like no other pub/restaurant I've visited and I cannot wait to bring my family here from Wales when they visit and to also enjoy the next themed night or visit here whichever comes first!

Awful cold food, slow service, chavvy pub. Happy not to be returning here! Kids 'play area' is a joke, nice staff but delusional unfortunately. Amazes me how there is anyone willing to bother with this place, dirty and dire too!

This is my local pub always has been. Had my 2 daughters christening here the other day food was great. Staff are aways great. Nice family pub would recommend for a venue anytime

Just eaten in the Bedes for the first time since the refurbishment and only the second time in the twelve years I have lived in the village. The carvery was outstanding and the large plate option was huge. The meat was excellent but the vegetables were even better with each option being cooked in an unusual but very pleasant way, we will definately be going back and I suspect often.

Great Sunday carvery. Plenty of choice of meats and vegetables. Served hot. Great idea of using a big Yorkshire pudding as the base. My grandchildren liked the little ice creams for afters.

Absolutely brilliant, we had our work Christmas party there last night, the staff were friendly and on the ball, the food was perfect and overall just a fantastic night out. It was our second Christmas party there in three years and we'll definately be back! :)

We were looking forward to the carvery but were very disappointed as all the food was stone cold. We won’t be returning.

Fantastic meal today with the family. Lovely friendly helpful staff who even provided a higher chair with arms for one member of the group so he could attend even though he is temporarily on crutches. Very kind and much appreciated. Thank you

7 of us turned up for breakfast today to be told they don't do breakfast on a bank holiday. All advertising says they do, chalk board and poster directly under name sign and website.

Paid for a private function, definitely not enough food for 40 people- was told it was 2 small sandwiches per person, very unsatisfied with the food.

About time North Baddesley had a local pub that served good reasonably priced food. We were very impressed with our car very. Not your standard soggy veg but cabbage with bacon and garlic new potatoes. Nice touches. Friendly staff. Sean the manager cares what people think. We will be back!

Excellent Christmas meal here last night. Beautifully decorated table, efficient service and so much good food!

Actually went in this bar twice yesterday. Very good choice of beers. Friendly staff and atmosphere.
