The Exchange Theatre - North Shields - Photo album

What an outstanding venue. Staff so friendly. Great ambient feel. Drinks so well priced. And the show....well it blew me away
We headed there for a show on Friday and the atmosphere was brilliant. You can see the changes that have already been made to the building and we were really impressed with the style and decoration. I can’t wait to see it all finished and what’s to come from the new events.
Great location with historical significance and buildings have recently been renovated, and new internal decor. I'm looking forward to seeing this becoming a go-to venue for North Shields and the surrounding area.
I played here on a Thursday night as part of the North Tyneside Saturday Music Centre Easter Concert Series. It was a very decent place to play indeed! The facilities worked well to accommodate many young folk keen to perform to a packed house. I don't think it's particularly cheap to hire, but venu
I love coming here. Been to many events such as mothers day afternoon teas, performances and pantomimes. Would definitely recommend. I like the café /bar vibe and atmosphere.
Great bar, shame it is closing down. Barry and Dom were great behind the bar. Couldn't believe that the bar manager had went home for a rest and left Barry and Dom to do all the work, bar manager turned back up at 10.50!! Would have been 5 stars if not for the lazy bar manager!
Came in tonight with a few work friends and to say the least we LOVED it! It was absolutely brill and will definitely be returning. Very friendly service especially from one of the waitresses who I think was called Aaliyah or Aliyat? Either way she was absolutely lovely and always checked up on us.
A hidden gem in the heart of North Shields, a beautiful bar/cafe with an auditorium. Live music, shows etc are always on offer and a wonderful courtyard to sit outside.
Brilliant venue. Good sized bar area with a variety of drinks and snacks available. Only down side was the toilets being limited. Four available at the ladies, but one was broken and another flooded.
What a smashing little theatre. Went to see lindisfarne gig. We sat in the balcony. There is a lift available. Plenty of room for your legs don't need to stand up to let people pass. Good view of the stage. Reasonably priced bar for a drink in interval. You can take them back to your seat.
