Lovely food used to come here years ago then I moved away and went back when visiting and has never changed still quality food
A great pub sells good beer at a great price. And the service is spot on.
Nice pub, in a good place, easy to find. They have lots of options for drinks and nice collection for spirits. Price for lager was nice, but it raised a bit, later in the evening.
The con, is that they dien offer any snacks, exept crisps and pork crakings.

Friendly & helpful staff. We had fish & chips, & scampi & chips, asked if we could have garden peas instead of mushy peas but the chef said he didn't have any, & yet when our meals were served, he had put himself out to find some for us. Great atmosphere & would go again

Decent pub. I went later in the evening on a weekday so it was fairly quiet. Got served well and was a nice calm atmosphere. I'm not a pub person but I'd consider coming again.

Went here to watch football on Sky Sports whilst in Shields - friendly, good selection, decent prices. Lots of screens so would be OK even when busy (which it wasn't when we were there).
Sunday Mother's day lunch, the food was brilliant, no skimping, lots of fresh vegetables, and the meat was plentiful, and well cooked. Staff are very attentive, cheerful, and the service was excellent.
