Miller & Carter Tynemouth

Impromptu Sunday bite to eat for a couple of vegetarians. First visit. Very impressed with our welcome, the restaurant cleanliness and layout. Our server, Charlotte, was excellent - clearly knew the menu well and was able to advise on certain dishes. Food quality and presentation excellent. Literally cannot fault the whole experience. We will definitely return.

First time here and won't be the last. The best service we've had at a Miller & Carter. Molly our waitress was excellent at her job and very attentive...a credit to the business and acknowledged our anniversary with a dessert which was lovely ...although we were full from our meal but still very much appreciated. The place is beautiful and really well set out. Very impressed.

We have been on a few occasions now, the food is always perfect, the service is always great. The Only issue was this time was we were sat at a small table so it was a little cramped when we ordered the butchers block but we managed. Charlotte has been our server twice when we have been and she is fantastic. Top tier service.

I had an amazing birthday meal with my family. The staff are all very friendly and we never had to ask for anything as they kept attending us to ask if we needed anything (even during a busy Saturday evening). The two children we had with us loved the kids menu as it is far more adventurous than what you would usually find (nuggets, pizza, pasta). All of our starters, steaks, deserts and cocktails were lovely. I want to say a big thank you to all the staff for our great experience and we look forward to returning!

Had a great meal orded the cheesy garlic bread to share for starters plenty slices. Had the 12 Oz ribye steak was cooked to perfection nice and rare with some gravy to dip. Ended the meal with a sticky toffee pudding to share. Our server Molly did a fantastic job checking in on us making sure everything was going well and if we needed any more drinks, will definitely be returning again :)

I know this is a steakhouse, but let's be honest, some of us are non meat eaters, but still want to visit with friends! Like everyone else, been looking forward to coming here since it opened. Admittedly, the steak my friend had did look amazing! But like I said, I'm not a meat eater. I did have the Sea Bass though and it was Delicious! I've been to a lot of restaurants with different levels of quality, and thankfully, I can say this wasn't just pretentious for the sake of it. It really was very good. I'd very happily order it again. So although it's a steakhouse they have catered good quality alternatives for those that don't want to miss out visiting! Also, it's a very well presented restaurant inside. Nicely designed. Something good i noticed, the restaurant didn't smell of meat. There was no lingering meaty smell that you find in other meat establishments. This is a huge plus for non meaters!
