New to Norfolk and I love a bit of fish and chips. Well this is my go to chippy. Hot, fresh succulent fish with a thin coating of crispy batter and fresh cut chips 😋. Staff are very polite and friendly and the ambience is comfortable.
This place is an absolute gem, proper old fashioned service and perfectly cooked fish and chips.
We were in the area and as this is the highest ranked for fish and chips on Google maps it was a no brainer.
Service with a friendly smile and the pricing is just right.
I had a large cod, medium chips and a pot of curry sauce and it was absolutely superb, the cod was huge, I'll be having a medium next time and even the medium chips were just too much, needless to say the cod was finished and a few chips were sadly binned.
The price list on the wall even has the names chalked on telling you the fishing boat name that landed the cod and haddock 👍

Amazing knowledge of gluten free safety (separate fryers etc) and were incredibly helpful and reassuring when ordering gluten free food. The food (both normal and gf) was delicious! Can’t recommend enough if you’re in North Norfolk. Lovely staff and shop also.

After visiting this place for the first time, we will definitely be back. The food was delicious, hot, and reasonably priced for the amount of food that we got. The staff were friendly and well presented. The premises were clean, tidy, well stocked and had a lovely atmosphere. The menu was extensive and informative (informing the customer of where the fish was caught, how the chips were prepared and also that gluten free was available)

Fantastic fish and chips! So nice to have such a good chippy in walking distance of our holiday accommodation. Skinless and boneless cod fillets and light crispy batter, chips were textbook too! The giant sausage was bigger than any of us expected. Would gladly visit here again and again. Online ordering was convenient and hassle free too.

Came to Walsham on holiday for a week (couple with the 3 dogs) and got to say the fish and chips are out of this world, especially as they're fried in beef dripping. Can't say as I've had fresh plaice before, but the one I had was sooo tasty, and as for the minted mushy peas, well... 😊 See you next year 👍
Just had my first order from Three Cottages, but it won't be my last.. Great food, great choice of food, and very friendly staff. I highly recommend this restaurant and take away.
