Our first visit this morning (Saturday). The best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten. Nice atmosphere. Waiting staff were very cheerful and attentive, especially Jess who made the whole experience amazing. We will be returning soon.
Delicious Sunday Roast - one of the best I've had, particularly as a vegetarian. The Nut Roast was really good, and I was pleased that I got to have all the sides too! Normally as a veggie you get used to having to miss out, but not here! The Treacle Tart was also perfect, a great spot and we will b
Fantastic place to visit, yummy food, filled me and my friends up, some couldn't finish 😊very cosy downstairs, upstairs more plain looking. Big bonus for being dog friendly. Definitely coming back to try breakfast as menu had big variety.
Horror murder mystery night. Great entertainment and delicious food Horror themed.
Visited tonight for the first time, it won't be the last! It was Italian night, had the best carbonara and risotto with garlic bread, came with a complimentary carafe of red wine. Food was delicious, great service and lovely atmosphere. Well done guys
Fabulous food. Great portions and very flavourful. Lovely atmosphere and well priced. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Also dog friendly. Gladly come back again 😊
Fantastic Sunday lunch, my partner and I had the Roast Guinea Fowl and the Roast Beef - both were delicious, with crunchy roast potatoes, lovely gravy and some creamy roast cauliflower. The staff were helpful and friendly and the restaurant was bustling - definitely have to book in advance, for a Su
We had a great visit to this hidden jewel. Their breakfast is amazing. If you like bennies it is a must stop if you’re in this part of England. My only regret? Not eating more!
Best place by far for a Sunday lunch! The Guinea Fowl was amazing and I such huge portions for a really good price. I’d definitely recommend to anyone in the area!
An eclectic restaurant with a great venue and interesting specials. The sharing tapas board was delicious and a very generous portion size. We will be back!
Delicious food! Highly recommend the aubergine and the baked feta but everything we had was gorgeous. The staff are very friendly and were really good with our little girl. Comfy and nicely decorated, it has a lovely atmosphere. We will make sure we come back next time we're in the area! And next ti
Really could be 5* A great relaxed experience with food that is absolutely first class! From the outside, Shambles looks like a nice little cafe - how wrong can you be. Enter this quaint looking frontage into an eclectic, absorbing bistro, full of life and delicious aromas. It really is one to try.
Such a cosy atmosphere with delicious food for all ages and tastes, lovely service and lots of lovely local produce on offer.
Awesome place for breakfast. Very good quality. Not greasy. Place is well worth a visit. Dinner looked good but didnt try. Can also get a beer too. Great special baked beans. Good work guys.
What an absolute delight. Me and my wife were on our honeymoon in the local area and were gutted that it wasn't open. I am so pleased I managed to get in on Saturday and I can not wait to visit again with her in the future. The food, the staff, the atmosphere, everything was just fantastic. there we
What a lovely cafe bar. Quirky, good range of unusual small plates and main meals. We shared the aubergines and eggs in purgatory small plate dishes which were enough for a light lunch. Staff were very friendly. Will have to go back to try other dishes.
Consistently great food and friendly service In a lovely setting, would highly recommend! Enjoy the decor of the bistro or the courtyard for coffee or cocktails.
